Role and Responsibilities

The SAP Integration Suite Technical Consultant will be responsible for the handson development implementation and management of complex integration solutions using SAP Integration Suite formerly known as SAP Cloud Platform Integration This role demands a deep technical understanding of integration technologies and the ability to translate business requirements into reliable and scalable integration solutions

Key Technical Responsibilities

Integration Design and Development

oCollaborate with business analysts and stakeholders to gather and analyze integration requirements

oDesign and develop robust integration solutions using SAP Integration Suite including creating integration flows mappings and configurations

oImplement data transformation message mappings and value mappings to ensure accurate data exchange between systems

Configuration and Management

oConfigure and manage various integration adapters eg HTTP IDoc SFTP SOAP REST for connecting SAP and nonSAP systems

oEnsure proper authentication and authorization mechanisms are in place leveraging security artifacts such as OAuth SSL and digital certificates

Custom Development

oDevelop custom scripts using Groovy or Java for handling complex business logic and data transformations within integration flows

oCreate and manage APIs using API Management service of SAP Integration Suite for exposing business functionalities

Testing and Troubleshooting

oConduct unit testing system integration testing and performance testing to ensure the quality and reliability of integration solutions

oTroubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to message processing data transformation and connectivity

oMonitor integration processes using SAP Monitoring tools and manage message queues logs and s

Deployment and Documentation





oDeploy integration scenarios across different environments following change management procedures

oDocument integration designs technical specifications and user guides to facilitate knowledge sharing and ensure proper maintenance

Continuous Improvement

oStay updated with the latest SAP integration technologies tools and best practices

oParticipate in code reviews and provide feedback to ensure adherence to design standards and technical quality

Professional Experience

46 years of handson experience with SAP Integration Suite formerly SAP CPI

Proven experience in developing and managing complex integration scenarios within SAP and nonSAP environments

Technical Skills

Proficiency in designing developing and configuring integration flows using SAP Integration Suite

Strong skills in Groovy or Java scripting for custom logic development

Experience with various integration protocols eg HTTP SOAP REST IDoc SFTP and security standards eg OAuth SSL

Familiarity with SAP APIs BAPIs IDocs RFCs and ALE

Knowledge of SAP PIPO and other middleware platforms is a plus

Tools and Technologies

SAP Integration Suite development tools and monitoring dashboards

API Management and Open Connectors within SAP Integration Suite

Advanced Event Mesh configuration and connecting it with Integration suite artifacts

Soft Skills

Excellent problemsolving and analytical skills





Robust communication skills to effectively interact with technical and nontechnical stakeholders

Ability to handle multiple tasks and prioritize effectively in a fastpaced environment

Detailoriented with a focus on delivering highquality solutions
