Role Overview:

Ivy Crescent Public School is seeking a dedicated professional to support students’ holistic development. This integrated role combines socio-emotional support with comprehensive career guidance.

Roles & Responsibilities

Socio-Emotional Counseling: Provide individual and group counseling sessions, support students through emotional growth and stressors, and lead crisis intervention efforts.

Career Guidance: Assist students in exploring career paths, interpreting aptitude assessments, and navigating college/university applications (both domestic and international).

Collaboration: Partner with teachers and parents to create a supportive learning environment and address specific student needs.

Program Development: Facilitate mental health and wellness programs for students and staff while maintaining secure and confidential student records.

Required Qualifications & Experience

Education:

Master’s or Bachelor’s degree in Psychology (Clinical, Counseling, Applied, or Educational).

OR Master’s in Social Work (Mental Health/Counseling).





OR Bachelor’s/Master’s in any subject with a specialized Diploma in School Counseling or Child Guidance.

Experience: Prior experience in a school setting is preferred, with a focus on Social-Emotional Learning (SEL) delivery and mental health identification.

Professional Development: The candidate must be willing to undergo 50 hours of Capacity Building Programs (CBPs) as mandated by the Board.

Skills: Strong verbal and written communication skills and a collaborative team-oriented mindset.

Salary & Benefits

Pay Scale: ₹15,000 – ₹25,000 per month (commensurate with qualifications).

Benefits: Health Insurance and Provident Fund (PF) contributions.
