What you will do
As senior project officer, you will lead projects and reporting across the justice system.
You will help senior leaders manage priorities, solve problems and deliver key corporate work.
You will:
- lead complex projects and reporting processes that support the group's work
- develop clear advice, reports and supporting material for senior leaders
- plan responses to emerging issues and manage changing priorities
- build strong working relationships across the department and government
- mentor junior staff, share knowledge and represent the team when needed.
About you
You do not need a specific qualification for this role. You should have robust experience managing projects in complex environments.
You should also have:
- strong project skills and experience managing complex work from start to finish
- clear communication skills and the ability to build relationships at all levels
- sound judgement and resilience when solving problems under pressure
- leadership skills that help you mentor others and improve how teams work
