1. Role Overview

The Senior Manager – Finance & Accounts will be responsible for managing and overseeing the financial accounting, reporting, budgeting, taxation, statutory compliance, banking, project finance, cash-flow management and financial controls of G3 Renewables.

The role will work closely with the management, project development, operations, procurement, administration and technical teams to ensure that G3R maintains strong financial discipline while supporting the company's rapid expansion into commercial waste-processing and resource-recovery projects.

The candidate will be expected to function not merely as an accounting professional, but as a finance business partner to the management, providing timely financial information, analysis and recommendations for strategic and operational decision-making.

2. Key Responsibilities

A. Financial Accounting & Reporting

- Oversee day-to-day accounting operations of G3R.
- Ensure accurate recording of all income, expenditure, assets, liabilities and transactions.
- Supervise accounts payable and accounts receivable.
- Review general ledger, journal entries, provisions, accruals and reconciliations.
- Ensure timely monthly, quarterly and annual closing of accounts.
- Prepare and review Profit & Loss statements, Balance Sheets and Cash Flow Statements.
- Prepare management financial reports and MIS.
- Ensure proper accounting treatment for project-related expenditure and capital assets.
- Maintain appropriate accounting records for individual projects and business units.
- Coordinate with auditors for statutory and financial audits.

B. Budgeting & Financial Planning

- Prepare annual budgets and operating plans in consultation with management and department heads.
- Develop department-wise and project-wise budgets.
- Monitor actual expenditure against approved budgets.
- Analyse budget variances and identify reasons for deviations.
- Provide corrective recommendations to management.
- Develop financial projections for new projects and expansion plans.
- Support preparation of financial models for G3R's proposed waste-processing and biorefinery projects.
- Evaluate project-level profitability, cash flows, payback and financial sustainability.

C. Project Finance

- Support financial structuring of G3R's new projects.
- Prepare project finance information required by banks and financial institutions.
- Coordinate preparation of financial sections of DPRs, feasibility reports and project proposals.
- Assist in loan applications, term-loan documentation and working-capital facilities.
- Prepare debt-servicing schedules and monitor repayment obligations.
- Track project CAPEX, financing requirements and utilisation of funds.
- Monitor project financial performance against approved financial models.
- Assist management in evaluating different funding options including debt, equity, strategic investment and other financing mechanisms.
- Coordinate with banks, financial institutions, investors and financial advisors.

D. Cash Flow & Working Capital Management

- Prepare short-term and long-term cash-flow forecasts.
- Monitor daily and monthly cash positions.
- Ensure sufficient liquidity for operational requirements.
- Monitor receivables and payment collections.
- Develop strategies for improving working-capital efficiency.
- Monitor vendor payments and payment schedules.
- Coordinate with management regarding prioritization of payments.
- Monitor customer credit periods and outstanding receivables.
- Identify potential cash-flow gaps in advance and recommend corrective measures.

E. Banking & Treasury

- Manage day-to-day banking activities.
- Coordinate with banks regarding account operations, loans, guarantees and other banking facilities.
- Monitor bank balances and transactions.
- Review bank reconciliations.
- Coordinate issuance and management of Letters of Credit, Bank Guarantees and other banking instruments, wherever applicable.
- Monitor interest payments,



loan repayments and other financial obligations.
- Maintain proper banking documentation.
- Develop robust working relationships with G3R's banking partners.

F. Taxation & Statutory Compliance

- Ensure timely compliance with applicable taxation and statutory requirements.
- Coordinate GST-related accounting, reconciliations, returns and documentation.
- Coordinate TDS compliance and related filings.
- Assist in preparation of income-tax-related information and documentation.
- Maintain proper statutory records.
- Coordinate with statutory auditors, tax consultants, company secretarial professionals and other external advisors.
- Monitor changes in applicable financial and taxation regulations and communicate relevant implications to management.
- Ensure timely resolution of statutory queries and notices.

G. Internal Controls & Financial Governance

- Establish and strengthen financial control systems.
- Develop appropriate approval and authorization mechanisms.
- Ensure segregation of financial responsibilities.
- Monitor procurement-to-payment processes.
- Review expense claims, purchase documentation, invoices and payment approvals.
- Establish controls for CAPEX and project expenditure.
- Identify financial risks and recommend mitigation measures.
- Monitor potential leakages, irregularities and control weaknesses.
- Support implementation of internal audit systems.

H. MIS & Management Reporting

Prepare periodic management reports covering:

- Revenue
- Expenditure
- EBITDA / operating profitability
- Cash flow
- Receivables
- Payables
- Working capital
- CAPEX
- Project expenditure
- Budget vs. actual performance
- Project-wise profitability
- Cost centre performance
- Financial commitments
- Loan and repayment status

Provide management with clear interpretation of financial information rather than merely presenting numbers.

I. Costing & Commercial Analysis

- Develop costing systems for G3R's products and services.
- Analyse operating costs and identify opportunities for cost optimization.
- Prepare project-level cost estimates.
- Support pricing decisions for G3R products and services.
- Analyse contribution margins and profitability.
- Evaluate vendor quotations from a financial perspective.
- Support procurement and operations teams in commercial decision-making.
- Monitor actual production and operating costs against projected costs.

J. Audit & Compliance Coordination

- Coordinate statutory audits and internal audits.
- Prepare audit schedules and supporting documentation.
- Respond to audit observations and coordinate corrective actions.
- Maintain proper documentation for all significant financial transactions.
- Ensure financial records are audit-ready throughout the year rather than only during audit periods.

K. Finance Team Management

- Supervise and guide the Finance & Accounts team.
- Allocate responsibilities and establish reporting timelines.
- Review work prepared by accountants and finance executives.
- Develop SOPs for accounting and financial processes.
- Train team members on financial controls and documentation.
- Establish a culture of accuracy, accountability and timely reporting.
- Coordinate with other departmental heads for financial information and compliance.

3. G3R-Specific Responsibilities

As G3R is a technology-driven renewable resource recovery company, the Senior Manager – Finance & Accounts will additionally be expected to:

- Understand the financial structure of waste-processing and biorefinery projects.
- Develop project-wise financial models in coordination with technical and management teams.




- Analyse CAPEX and OPEX requirements for new facilities.
- Prepare financial assumptions for DPRs and investor proposals.
- Evaluate financial viability of new G3R technologies and business models.
- Track R&D; expenditure separately from commercial operating expenditure.
- Support grant, subsidy and government-incentive documentation wherever applicable.
- Establish project-wise cost centres and accounting systems.
- Monitor financial performance of individual plants once commercial operations begin.
- Assist management in evaluating expansion opportunities across different geographical regions.
- Provide financial inputs for investment decisions, partnerships and strategic collaborations.

4. Required Skills

Essential

- Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial management.
- Excellent understanding of GST, TDS and statutory accounting requirements.
- Strong financial analysis and MIS capabilities.
- Solid Excel skills and financial modelling ability.
- Experience with accounting/ERP software.
- Strong knowledge of budgeting and cash-flow management.
- Good understanding of project finance and CAPEX accounting.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent documentation and reporting abilities.
- Ability to communicate financial information clearly to non-finance teams.

Preferred

- Experience with ERP implementation or financial process automation.
- Experience in project-based businesses.
- Knowledge of renewable energy, waste management, infrastructure, manufacturing or technology businesses.
- Experience dealing with banks and financial institutions.
- Experience preparing financial models and DPRs.
- Knowledge of investor reporting and due-diligence processes.

5. Educational Qualification

Essential:

- CA / CMA / MBA Finance / M.Com / equivalent qualification.

Preferred:

- Chartered Accountant (CA) or Cost & Management Accountant (CMA).
- MBA Finance with strong relevant experience may also be considered.

6. Experience

Preferred: 6–10 years of relevant experience, with substantial exposure to:

- Finance & Accounts
- Financial reporting
- Budgeting

- Taxation

- Project finance
- Working capital management
- Audit and statutory compliance

Candidates with experience in renewable energy, infrastructure, manufacturing, waste management, technology or project-based organizations will be preferred.

10. Ideal Candidate Profile

G3R is looking for a finance professional who can go beyond bookkeeping and statutory accounting.

The ideal candidate should be capable of looking at a G3R project and answering:

“How much will it cost, how will we finance it, how much cash will it generate, when will we recover the investment, what are the financial risks, and how do we make the project more profitable?”

The person should be comfortable working alongside technical, R&D;, operations and management teams and translating technical and operational information into sound financial decisions.

Key Requirement

G3R needs a Finance & Accounts leader who can build financial discipline while actively contributing to the company's growth, project financing and commercial strategy.

Pay: ₹100,000.00 per month
