About Us:

The Banyan is a not for profit organisation that works with people with mental health issues affected by homelessness and poverty. We have a diverse range of approaches and projects in mental health ranging from hospital based care, inclusive living options to community mental health with clinics and outreach. Our sister organisation BALM engages in research, stakeholder expansion and academics.

Job Position: HR Manager

Key Responsibilities

- Manage end-to-end recruitment and talent acquisition.
- Coordinate employee induction and onboarding programmes.
- Drive the Performance Management System, including KRAs, appraisals and performance reviews.
- Handle employee grievances and workplace concerns professionally, confidentially and fairly.
- Act as a point of contact for employees and support timely resolution of HR-related concerns.
- Identify training needs and coordinate Learning & Development programmes.
- Support Organisational Development and employee engagement initiatives.
- Work closely with managers and employees to address people-related matters.
- Strengthen employee experience, engagement and retention.
- Maintain HR records, reports and HR trackers.




- Support implementation of HR policies, processes and organisational initiatives.

What We Are Looking For

- 3-4 years of relevant HR experience.
- MSW, MSC Psychology/ MPhil in HR/ Psychology.
- Solid experience in Recruitment, Induction, Performance Management, Grievance Management, Training & Development and Employee Engagement.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal and stakeholder-management skills.
- Strong problem-solving and conflict-resolution skills.
- Ability to manage multiple HR activities independently.

Language Requirement – Mandatory

English | Tamil | Hindi

The candidate must be able to communicate fluently in all three languages.

Location: Mogappair Chennai, Willing to Travel

Salary: Rs. 50000/- Per month (Negotiable)
