Requirements of the Job:
The Executive Director must be a committed and values-driven leader with a deep understanding of and passion for the well-being of persons with disabilities and the elderly, particularly those from economically disadvantaged and marginalized communities and to manpower development in this field. She/he needs to be a visionary for expanding and intensifying MI's activities.
The Executive Director will be reporting to the Governing Body and would be accountable for providing strategic leadership and overall direction to the organization and ensuring sustainable growth and provide consistent value for all stakeholders.
The role carries full responsibility for driving organizational performance by establishing clear objectives, raising and aligning resources, and fostering a culture of accountability and excellence. The Executive Director is entrusted with the end-to-end ownership of the annual operating plan and budget, including its formulation, presentation, approval, execution, monitoring, and realization. This includes ensuring that financial, operational, and strategic targets are effectively translated into measurable outcomes, mitigating risks, optimizing resource utilization,
and delivering agreed results while maintaining solid governance, compliance, and stakeholder confidence.
The person selected as Executive Director, will be held responsible to lead the organization into its next phase of growth, innovation, sustainability, and impact while strengthening its reputation as a leader in disability-inclusive development.
Qualifications: Bachelor / Master’s degree.
MEDICAL: Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation, Orthopedics, Community Health, Allied Health Sciences.
NON-MEDICAL - Public Health, Social Work, Educational Management, Development studies.
EXPERIENCE: Minimum of 5 years in a relevant assignment.
Age: 45- 48 Years
