Planning Engineer

Location: Chandigarh
Experience: 7–10 years
Employment Type: Full-time

Qualification & Key Requirements

- B.E. / B.Tech in Civil, Mechanical, or Electrical Engineering.
- 7–10 years of experience in project planning and scheduling.
- Hands-on experience with Primavera P6 and MS Project is mandatory.
- Experience in industrial or EPC projects will be preferred.
- Experience in steel plant / steel industry projects will be strongly preferred.
- Good working knowledge of MS Excel.
- Experience in site-based planning, progress tracking, resource planning, and delay analysis.
- Exposure to planning and coordination of steel structures, equipment erection, mechanical works, utilities, and associated civil works will be an advantage.
- Ability to understand engineering drawings, BOQs, and project execution requirements.

Key Responsibilities





- Prepare and maintain detailed project schedules and milestone plans for steel plant project activities.
- Develop and update schedules using Primavera P6 and MS Project.
- Monitor progress of steel structures, equipment erection, mechanical installations, utilities, and civil works.
- Prepare weekly and monthly progress reports.
- Assist with manpower, material, and resource planning.
- Analyze delays and support recovery planning.
- Review drawings, BOQs, and execution plans for planning requirements.
