Senior QA Engineer (AI-Augmented)

Position Overview

We are seeking a Senior QA Engineer who combines strong QA fundamentals with the ability to harness AI-driven tools and external testing services. This role goes beyond manual and automation testing—it requires someone who can design intelligent test strategies, use AI copilots for faster validation, and improve overall software quality efficiency by 3–5x.

Key Responsibilities

- Own the end-to-end QA lifecycle across functional, regression, performance, and security testing.
- Design, maintain, and optimize test automation frameworks (Selenium, Cypress, Playwright, etc.).
- Use AI-based tools (e.g., GitHub Copilot, Testim.io, Mabl,



Applitools, or ChatGPT QA plugins) to:

- Generate test cases & scripts.

- Analyze logs & defects.

- Perform intelligent test data generation.

- Leverage external services (BrowserStack, SauceLabs, LambdaTest, Postman Cloud, etc.) for cross-browser, cross-device, and API validations.
- Introduce predictive QA practices (e.g., using AI to identify high-risk modules).
- Collaborate with Developers, Product Managers, and DevOps to embed QA into CI/CD pipelines.
- Ensure compliance with security, scalability, and performance benchmarks.
- Mentor junior QA team members in AI-enabled testing practices.

Required Skills

- 7+ years of hands-on QA experience in both manual and automation domains.
- Proficiency in at least one programming language (Python, Java, JavaScript, or TypeScript).
- Strong knowledge of test automation frameworks (Selenium, Cypress, Playwright).
- Demonstrated experience using AI/ML tools for QA (test generation, log analysis, defect prediction).
- Hands-on exposure to external cloud-based QA services (e.g., BrowserStack, SauceLabs).
- Solid understanding of CI/CD pipelines and integration of QA automation.
- Experience with API testing tools (Postman, REST Assured, Karate).
- Strong debugging, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication skills; ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams.

Preferred Qualifications

- Knowledge of AI model testing & validation (e.g., for ML/LLM applications).
- Experience with performance testing tools (JMeter, k6, Locust).
- Exposure to security testing tools (OWASP ZAP, Burp Suite).
- Certifications (ISTQB, Certified Software Test Automation Specialist, or AI-QA certifications).
