Job Summary
We are looking for a detail-oriented and organized GS Executive to manage the day-to-day
operations of the General Stores department. The ideal candidate should have at least 3 years of
experience in stores or warehouse operations within a cosmetics, FMCG, pharmaceutical, or
manufacturing environment. The role involves inventory management, material issuance, stock
maintenance, documentation, and coordination with internal departments to ensure smooth
operations.
Key Responsibilities
∙Manage receipt, storage, and issuance of general store materials, consumables, and
engineering items.
∙Maintain accurate inventory records and stock levels in the ERP system.
∙Ensure timely material issuance to Production, Maintenance, Admin, and other departments.
∙Perform Goods Receipt (GRN) and verify materials against purchase orders and invoices.
∙Conduct periodic physical stock verification and reconcile inventory discrepancies.
∙Maintain proper documentation for inward and outward material movements.
∙Monitor minimum and reorder stock levels and coordinate with Procurement for
replenishment.
∙Ensure proper storage practices, labeling, and housekeeping in the stores area.
∙Coordinate with vendors and transporters for timely receipt of materials.
∙Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly inventory and stock reports.
∙Ensure compliance with company SOPs, safety standards, and inventory control procedures.
∙Support internal and external audits by providing required documentation and inventory
records.
Required Skills
∙Positive knowledge of store and inventory management processes.
∙Experience with ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, Tally ERP, or similar).
∙Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, basic reporting).
∙Strong documentation and record-keeping skills.
∙Good analytical and problem-solving abilities.
∙Effective communication and coordination skills.
∙Ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
Eligibility Criteria
∙Education: Graduate in Commerce, Supply Chain, Logistics, or any relevant discipline.
∙Experience: Minimum 3 years of experience in stores, warehouse, or inventory management
in a cosmetics, FMCG, pharmaceutical, or manufacturing company.
∙Experience in ERP-based inventory management is preferred.
Preferred Candidate Profile
∙Experience handling general stores, consumables, maintenance spares, and indirect
materials.
∙Familiarity with FIFO/FEFO inventory practices.
∙Strong organizational and time management skills.
∙Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
∙Attention to detail with a high level of accuracy in inventory management.
Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹35,000.00 per month
