About the Role
We are looking for an experienced Tally Expert / Accounts Executive who can independently manage day-to-day accounting operations and maintain accurate books of accounts using Tally Prime.
The candidate should have strong practical knowledge of Tally and be capable of handling accounting work with minimal supervision.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage day-to-day accounting and bookkeeping in Tally Prime
- Record sales, purchases, expenses, receipts, payments and journal entries
- Maintain and reconcile customer and vendor ledgers
- Perform regular Bank Reconciliation
- Manage accounts receivable and payable
- Maintain GST-related accounting records and reconciliation
- Prepare data required for GSTR-1, GSTR-3B and GST reconciliation
- Handle TDS-related accounting and reconciliation
- Prepare and review P&L;, Balance Sheet and Trial Balance
- Identify and rectify accounting errors in Tally
- Maintain proper documentation and accounting records
- Manage Tally data backup and restoration
- Coordinate with the company's CA / Tax Consultant for audit, taxation and compliance work
- Prepare monthly MIS and accounting reports for management
- Maintain accounts for multiple entities, wherever required
- Ensure books are updated regularly and accurately
Required Skills
- Expert-level knowledge of Tally Prime
- Strong understanding of accounting principles
- Good knowledge of GST and basic taxation
- Experience with Bank Reconciliation
- Strong knowledge of ledgers, journals, trial balance, P&L; and Balance Sheet
- Ability to identify accounting discrepancies independently
- Good Excel / Google Sheets knowledge
- Strong attention to detail
- Ability to work independently with minimum supervision
Who We Are Looking For
We are specifically looking for a Tally Expert, not a basic data-entry operator.
The candidate should be comfortable taking ownership of the complete accounting process, identifying mistakes, maintaining clean books and coordinating with the CA whenever required.
Experience: 2–5+ years preferred.
Work Mode: Office-based in Ajmer preferred; experienced candidates may also be considered for remote work.
