Eligibility

- M.Sc. in Biology / Botany / Zoology / Life Sciences (Mandatory)
- B.Ed. (Mandatory)
- Minimum 3–5 years of experience teaching Biology for Grades IX–XII, preferably in a CBSE school.
- Strong subject knowledge with excellent conceptual clarity in Biology.
- Strong command of spoken and written English.
- Experience in preparing students for CBSE Board Examinations.
- Experience in handling NEET-oriented Biology preparation will be an added advantage.
- Proficiency in integrating technology, digital resources, and visual learning tools into classroom teaching is preferred.

Key Responsibilities

- Teach Biology to students of Grades IX–XII as per the CBSE curriculum.
- Prepare annual academic plans, lesson plans, assignments, worksheets, and assessments.
- Develop students' conceptual understanding, scientific thinking, analytical skills, and application-based learning.
- Conduct regular assessments, evaluate answer scripts, and provide timely and constructive feedback.
- Prepare students for CBSE Board Examinations through structured revision plans, model examinations, practice tests, and remedial coaching.
- Support students in developing strong subject fundamentals and examination-oriented answering skills.
- Identify learning gaps and provide appropriate academic support and remedial instruction.
- Use diagrams, laboratory activities, models, simulations, and digital resources to enhance Biology learning.
- Maintain student academic records and monitor individual progress.
- Collaborate with the Academic Coordinator and school leadership to achieve academic targets.
- Participate actively in school events, examinations, parent-teacher meetings,



training programmes, and career development initiatives.
- Foster a positive, inclusive, disciplined, and engaging classroom environment.

Skills Required

- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Strong classroom management abilities.
- Strong subject knowledge and conceptual clarity in Biology.
- Sound knowledge of CBSE curriculum, examination patterns, and assessment practices.
- Ability to mentor and motivate secondary and senior secondary students.
- Ability to prepare students effectively for CBSE Board Examinations.
- Strong practical and laboratory-based teaching skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Google Workspace, and digital teaching platforms.

Salary

₹35,000 – ₹45,000 per month
(Based on qualification, experience, and interview performance.)
