About the Role

We are looking for a passionate, versatile, and engaging tutor who can work with children across multiple learning areas, including Mental Math, Olympiad Mathematics, Scratch Coding, and Python Programming.

The ideal candidate should have a strong foundation in mathematics and programming and, most importantly, enjoy working with children. We are looking for someone who can make learning interactive, practical, challenging, creative, and enjoyable, while helping children develop logical thinking, problem-solving skills, creativity, and confidence.

Key Responsibilities

- Conduct engaging in-person classes for children.
- Teach Mental Math, Olympiad Math, Scratch Coding, and Python Programming based on the child's age and learning level.
- Build strong mathematical and programming fundamentals.
- Train students in mental calculation, logical reasoning, patterns, and problem-solving.
- Prepare students for Math Olympiads and advanced mathematical challenges.
- Teach Scratch through creative projects, games, animations, and activities.
- Introduce children to Python programming and computational thinking.
- Use puzzles, challenges, activities, projects, and real-life examples to make learning engaging.
- Encourage children to think independently rather than rely on memorization.
- Identify individual strengths and areas for improvement.
- Provide homework, practice exercises, and project-based assignments.
- Track student progress and provide regular feedback to parents.
- Adapt teaching methods according to different learning styles and abilities.




- Maintain a positive, patient, energetic, and encouraging learning environment.

Candidate Profile

- Strong knowledge of Mathematics and Programming.
- Comfortable teaching Mental Math, Olympiad Math, Scratch, and Python.
- Previous experience teaching children is preferred.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Patient, friendly, energetic, and approachable personality.
- Ability to simplify difficult concepts and explain them effectively.
- Passion for teaching and working with children.
- Strong logical and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to encourage curiosity, creativity, and independent thinking.
- Prior experience with Math Olympiads, competitive mathematics, Scratch projects, coding education, or Python programming will be an advantage.

This is a part time weekend opportunity, suitable for experienced tutors, teachers, engineers, programmers, postgraduate students, or professionals who have a passion for working with children.
