About Parqis
Parqis is building creator-led social commerce — shoppable reels where creators, brands, and shoppers meet. We're a small, fast-moving team running a real, live platform across web and mobile, built on a contemporary stack. Real users, real scope, real stakes.
The role
You'll be a Technical Product Management Intern — the glue between tech, product, and design. This isn't coffee-runs and note-taking. You'll help make sure the right things get built, get built well, and actually ship. Read requirements, question a Figma flow, unblock an engineer, track a release to the finish line — and learn how a real product team operates from the inside.
What you'll learn & do
- Connect the dots. Help turn product/design ideas into clear, buildable specs with real acceptance criteria.
- Keep work on track. Support planning, break big ideas into scoped tasks, and help surface blockers and slippage early.
- Speak both languages. Learn to translate tech trade-offs for non-tech folks and product/UX intent for engineers.
- See the bigger picture. Help coordinate work across teams and features so changes stay aligned and nothing slips through the cracks.
- Follow launches end-to-end. Sit in on release plans, rollout, and monitoring — and own pieces of it yourself.
- Understand real trade-offs.
Watch how features get balanced against tech debt, quality, and risk — and start making calls.
You'll be a great fit if you
- Are a student, recent grad, or career-switcher eager to break into technical product management.
- Are technically curious — you can read (or are learning to read) code, understand basic APIs/databases, and think in systems.
- Communicate clearly and stay organized across lots of moving parts.
- Are self-driven, comfortable with ambiguity, and hungry to learn fast.
- Can commit [30+ hours/week] for 2–6 months.
Bonus points
- Any exposure to Next.js, Supabase/Postgres, Flutter, Git/GitHub, Figma, Jira/Linear, or Postman.
- Interest in creator/influencer commerce, video/reels, e-commerce, or marketplaces.
- Side projects, hackathons, or anything showing you build and ship.
What you'll walk away with
- Real ownership of meaningful product work on a live platform.
- Direct mentorship from founders and engineers.
- A portfolio of shipped work + a strong recommendation for standout interns.
- A front-row seat to how an early-stage startup actually builds.
- Internship certificate on completion. Potential for a paid role / stipend as we grow.
Benefits:
- Flexible schedule
- Work from home
Work Location: Remote
