Senior Full Stack Developer (MERN / Node.js & React)

Role Type: 2-Month Contract (Full-Time) + Post-Deployment Support Retainer (Flexible Hours/Month)

Project Overview

We are building LePlay, an enterprise-grade multi-tenant booking, venue management, and reception POS platform. The platform manages the entire customer journey—from online slot booking and dynamic pricing to digitally signed consent forms, QR-based reception check-ins, wristband tracking, and walk-in sales across multiple locations.

You will serve as the primary Full Stack Engineer responsible for constructing the web applications, API endpoints, business logic, and reception POS interfaces.

Team Structure

You won't be working in isolation. You will join a streamlined engineering pod:

- Solutions Architect: Provides high-level architecture guidance and conducts weekly code reviews to validate multi-tenant data schemas and core logic.
- DevOps Engineer (Part-Time): Manages AWS cloud infrastructure, serverless deployments, setting setup, and CI/CD pipelines.
- Product Lead: Provides active technical direction and project oversight.

(Note: High proficiency with AI-assisted development tools—such as Cursor, Antigravity, or Copilot—is strongly encouraged to accelerate development velocity.)

Key Responsibilities

- Frontend Development:
- Build a responsive, high-performance customer booking flow (location selection, 30-minute slot reservation, dynamic ticket plans, payment gateway integration).
- Build an active Reception POS Dashboard optimized for fast desktop workflows (walk-in management, manual/scanned wristband tracking, ticket issuing, cash/card/UPI reconciliation).
- Develop an Admin & Analytics Dashboard featuring granular Role-Based Access Control (RBAC) and real-time revenue/occupancy metrics.
- Backend & API Architecture:
- Design clean RESTful APIs and backend microservices supporting multi-tenant isolation across locations (Bangalore, Hyderabad, Chennai, etc.).




- Implement complex business logic:
- Slot Concurrency: Auto-releasing unconfirmed/failed payment slots after timed holds.
- Automated Dynamic Pricing Engine: Auto-updating ticket rates at 12:00 AM on event days.
- Digital Consent Pipeline: Auto-generating A4 PDFs with signatures and uploading them to AWS S3 using tenant/date path structures (consentForms/tenantId/YYYY/MM/DD/).
- Membership Engine: Tracking entry deductions, validity periods, and pass balances for reception sales.
- Hardware & Desktop Integration:
- Implement browser/DOM event handling for external USB barcode scanners and QR code readers running on Windows desktop reception workstations.
- Configure front-end silent printing routines for check-in tokens and invoices.

Required Qualifications & Skills

- Experience: 4+ years of hands-on experience building production full-stack web applications.
- Core Tech Stack:
- Frontend: React.js, HTML5/CSS3, Tailwind CSS or modern UI frameworks, state management (Redux / Zustand / React Query).
- Backend: Node.js, Express.js.
- Database: MongoDB / PostgreSQL (strong knowledge of multi-tenant data scoping and indexes).
- Cloud & Storage: Familiarity with AWS S3 file routing, AWS Cognito/Auth workflows, and RESTful API security.
- Hardware Interfacing Knowledge: Experience handling raw input buffer streams, DOM focus management for USB HID scanners, or thermal printer spooling.
- Tooling: Strong command of Git workflows and modern AI-assisted engineering tools.

Contract Scope & Deliverables (2 Months)

- Month 1: Complete API architecture, multi-tenant database models, user auth/RBAC, and core online booking/slot reservation engine.
- Month 2: Complete reception POS dashboard, digital consent form generation/S3 storage, membership system, physical scanner/printer frontend integration, UAT testing, and bug fixing.
- Post-Go-Live Support: Hourly retainer availability (estimated 5–15 hours/month) for maintenance, minor patch releases, and post-launch stability support.

Pay: ₹80,000.00 - ₹125,000.00 per month

Work Location: Hybrid remote in Bengaluru, Karnataka (Bengaluru, Bengaluru Urban District)
