Job Title: CCTV & Biometric Technician

Location: Kochi, Kerala

Salary: ₹15,000 - ₹20,000 per month (Commensurate with experience)

Job Summary

Our Company is seeking a skilled and reliable CCTV & Biometric Technician to join our growing team in Kochi. The successful candidate will be responsible for the end-to-end installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of electronic security systems, specifically focusing on video surveillance and biometric access control devices. You will work directly at client sites to ensure all security systems are functioning optimally and providing the highest level of protection.

Key Responsibilities

- Installation & Configuration: Mount and configure IP and analog CCTV cameras, DVRs, NVRs, biometric time/attendance machines, and access control systems.
- Cabling: Run, dress, and terminate low-voltage cabling (Cat5e, Cat6, Coaxial) neatly and safely across commercial and residential sites.
- Troubleshooting & Repair: Diagnose and resolve hardware, software, and networking issues related to security equipment.
- Maintenance: Conduct routine preventative maintenance checks and system upgrades to minimize downtime.
- Client Support: Provide technical support and train end-users on how to properly operate their new surveillance and biometric systems.
- Reporting: Maintain accurate paperwork,



service logs, and site documentation for all completed jobs.

Requirements & Skills

- Mandatory: Must possess a valid driver’s license and own a two-wheeler for regular travel to client locations in and around Kochi.
- Experience: Previous hands-on experience installing and servicing CCTV, biometric devices, and access control systems.
- Technical Knowledge: Strong understanding of IP addressing, basic networking, and different CCTV/Biometric brands and specifications.
- Physical Fitness: Ability to perform physical labor, including carrying equipment, climbing ladders, and working in tight spaces or outdoor environments.
- Soft Skills: Excellent problem-solving abilities, strong attention to detail, and a qualified attitude when interacting with clients.
