Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced Merchandiser with 4+ years of experience in high-fashion garment export houses. The ideal candidate should have strong knowledge of apparel merchandising, excellent communication skills, and the ability to independently coordinate with buyers, vendors, sampling, production, quality and sourcing teams.

Key Responsibilities

- Handle end-to-end merchandising activities from product development and sampling to production and shipment.
- Communicate with international buyers/buying houses regarding styles, approvals, orders and delivery schedules.
- Understand buyer tech packs, specifications, samples and comments.
- Coordinate fabric, trims and accessory sourcing as per buyer requirements.
- Prepare and maintain T&A; (Time & Action) plans, order status and production trackers.
- Follow up on proto, fit, size set, PP, TOP and shipment samples for timely approvals.
- Coordinate with sampling, production, quality and sourcing teams to ensure smooth order execution.
- Monitor production progress and proactively highlight delays or quality issues.
- Check order details, costing, quantities, delivery dates and buyer requirements.
- Ensure orders are completed as per quality standards and agreed timelines.
- Maintain buyer correspondence, MIS, order sheets and merchandising reports.




- Handle multiple styles/orders simultaneously while maintaining attention to detail.

Candidate Profile

- 4+ years of relevant experience in garment export merchandising.
- Experience specifically in high-fashion / premium fashion garment export is preferred.
- Robust knowledge of woven garments, fabrics, trims, garment construction and production processes.
- Experience dealing with international buyers or buying agencies will be an advantage.
- Excellent verbal and written English communication skills.
- Strong follow-up, coordination, negotiation and problem-solving skills.
- Good working knowledge of MS Excel, Word and Email.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet strict shipment deadlines.
- Strong attention to detail and ownership of assigned orders.
- Qualification in Apparel Merchandising, Fashion, Textile or related field preferred.
