Job Summary

Polaris, a global leader in powersports, is seeking a Senior Quality Assurance (QA) Automation Engineer to support the quality of its Sourcing Applications and Platforms. In this role, you will design, build, and maintain reliable automated testing solutions that validate end-to-end system functionality and confirm project requirements are implemented correctly. Key Responsibilities
Develop and drive test plans, test cases and test strategies based on project requirements, ensuring comprehensive test coverage for web applications & mobile apps.
Build, maintain, and execute robust and scalable web automation frameworks and scripts that validate the functionality and stability of our applications across various browsers & devices.
Integrate automation and performance tests into CI/CD pipelines, ensuring seamless deployment, and quick feedback cycles.
Identify, document, and track software defects early in the development lifecycle. Perform root cause analysis and collaborate with cross-functional teams to prioritize and resolve issues.
Execute regression & smoke testing to support software releases to customers.
Conduct performance and load testing to identify the bottlenecks and ensure scalability.
Experience with source control tools like Git and Azure DevOps.

Support, maintain, and administer cloud testing solutions

Skill Requirements

Minimum Qualifications:
8–9 years of experience in Software Testing and Quality Engineering.
3-4 years of experience in building automated test suites using Playwright-TypeScript.
Proven experience in building ground-up automation solutions to drive product quality
Hands on experience in API testing and automation using Playwright-Typescript, Postman-Newman, ensuring comprehensive coverage and integration within the testing framework.
Experience leveraging AI-assisted tools (GitHub Copilot, test case / script generation tools) to improve test authoring, defect analysis, and quality engineering productivity.




Experience with CI/CD integration using GitHub Actions.
Familiarity with test management tools like TestRail and JIRA.
Understanding coding standards and best practices is essential.
Strong knowledge of automation design patterns (POM, reusable framework design).
Strong background and knowledge in automated, system, smoke, black box, integration, and unit testing.
Experience with Agile development methods such as Scrum and Kanban, with active participation in refinement, planning, testing, demos, and defect triage.
Strong written and verbal communication skills to effectively collaborate with the software engineering team and create testing plans and written reports showing errors.

Bachelor's degree in computer science or similar degree

Other Requirements
4-5 years of experience delivering highly effective automated testing solutions using Selenium WebDriver (Good to have)
Performance testing experience (good to have)
Database Testing knowledge is a plus.
Experience with AI/ML-driven test automation solutions (Playwright MCP / Playwright CLI).
Experience writing TypeScript, JavaScript, or other automation-supporting scripts for test execution, reporting, and test data setup.
