Job Purpose

Responsible for handling customer billing, cash/card/UPI transactions, order processing, and maintaining accurate daily cash and billing records while ensuring excellent customer service.

Key Responsibilities

- Handle billing and cashier operations at sweets, savouries and QSR outlets.
- Generate accurate bills using POS/billing software.
- Receive cash, credit/debit cards, UPI and other digital payments.
- Verify cash and payment transactions and provide correct change.
- Take customer orders and ensure correct items, quantities and prices are entered.
- Coordinate with kitchen, packing and service teams for timely order delivery.
- Handle takeaway and dine-in billing as applicable.
- Manage refunds, cancellations and bill corrections as per company procedures.
- Maintain proper cash drawer and ensure cash is secure at all times.
- Perform opening and closing cash verification and daily cash reconciliation.
- Prepare daily sales, cash and payment collection reports.
- Ensure discounts, complimentary items and promotional offers are applied correctly.
- Attend to customer queries related to billing, pricing and payments professionally.




- Maintain cleanliness and proper organization of the billing counter.
- Follow company policies, SOPs and food outlet service standards.
- Report any billing discrepancies, shortages or excess cash to the supervisor/manager immediately.

Skills & Competencies

- Good communication and customer-handling skills.
- Basic computer knowledge and POS billing experience.
- Good numerical and calculation skills.
- Accuracy and attention to detail.
- Ability to handle cash responsibly.
- Knowledge of UPI, card and digital payment systems.
- Ability to work under pressure during peak hours.
- Positive attitude and customer-focused approach.
- Teamwork and coordination skills.

Qualification & Experience

- Qualification: 12th / Diploma / Any Degree.
- Experience: 1–3 years in cashier/billing operations, preferably in sweets shops, QSRs, restaurants, bakeries, supermarkets or retail outlets.
- Freshers with good communication and basic computer knowledge may also be considered.

Working Conditions

- Willingness to work in rotational shifts, weekends and holidays.
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced retail/QSR environment.
- Should be willing to stand and work for extended periods during busy hours.

Pay: ₹16,000.00 - ₹20,000.00 per month
