SFS School, Narengi is seeking a dedicated and agile educator to serve as PGT – Sociology. Qualifications

- Postgraduate degree in Sociology (mandatory)
- B.Ed. (mandatory)
- Minimum 3 years of relevant teaching experience at the senior secondary level

Key Responsibilities

- Plan and deliver engaging, well-structured Sociology lessons aligned with the CBSE curriculum for senior secondary classes.
- Develop lesson plans, case studies, teaching aids, projects, and assessments suited to diverse learning needs.
- Promote conceptual clarity, critical thinking, and the application of sociological theories to real-life social situations.
- Encourage students to analyse social institutions, cultural patterns, social change, inequality, and contemporary issues.
- Conduct regular formative and summative assessments to monitor student progress and ensure board examination readiness.
- Provide academic support, mentoring, and individual guidance to students requiring additional assistance.
- Facilitate classroom discussions, debates, projects, field-based activities, and research-oriented assignments.




- Encourage students to connect sociological concepts with current affairs and everyday social experiences.
- Maintain accurate academic records and contribute to report card preparation.
- Create an inclusive classroom environment that promotes empathy, social awareness, respect for diverse perspectives, and intellectual curiosity.
- Actively participate in school events, academic meetings, workshops, and professional development programmes.
- Collaborate with colleagues for interdisciplinary teaching and curriculum enrichment.
- Communicate effectively with parents regarding student progress, academic performance, and areas requiring improvement.
