Job Title: L2 Application Support Engineer – SQL | Retail POS

We are looking for an L2 Application Support Engineer to support our Retail POS and Inventory Management software used by supermarkets and retail businesses.

The role involves investigating POS, billing, inventory and transaction-related issues, using SQL to analyze database records, identifying root causes and coordinating with the development team to resolve application bugs.

Key Responsibilities:

* Troubleshoot production issues related to POS, billing, inventory and transactions.

* Use SQL queries to investigate data issues and inventory mismatches.

* Analyze sales, purchase, GRN, stock transfer, returns and stock adjustment transactions.

* Identify the root cause of discrepancies between system data and actual store data.

* Reproduce application bugs and provide detailed information to the development team.

* Work with developers to track and resolve technical issues.

* Communicate with customers/store teams to understand and resolve issues.

* Document recurring issues and solutions.

* Provide L2 technical support for the RetailPOS application.

Requirements:

* 2–5 years of experience in Application Support / ERP Support / POS Support / Production Support.

* Good working knowledge of SQL and database troubleshooting.

* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

* Experience troubleshooting software/application issues.

* Understanding of databases and relational data.

* Experience with ERP, POS, Inventory, WMS or Retail software is an advantage.

* Positive communication and customer-handling skills.

* Tamil and English required.

* Telugu is an added advantage.

Important:

This is an Application Support / Technical Troubleshooting role, not a Software Developer role.

Education: Any Graduate – BCA / B.Sc / B.E./B.Tech / MCA preferred.

Job Title: Junior Technical Support Engineer – SQL | Retail POS





We are looking for a Junior Technical Support Engineer to support our Retail POS and Inventory Management software used by supermarkets and retail businesses.

The candidate will investigate customer and store issues, use SQL to understand database records, identify data discrepancies and coordinate with the technical team to resolve application issues.

Key Responsibilities:

* Troubleshoot POS, billing and inventory-related issues.

* Use basic SQL queries to investigate database records.

* Analyze sales, stock, purchase and transaction data.

* Identify possible causes of inventory mismatches.

* Understand and reproduce application issues.

* Escalate technical bugs to the development team with clear details.

* Communicate with customers and store teams.

* Maintain documentation of common problems and solutions.

Requirements:

* 0–2 years of experience; freshers with good SQL knowledge are welcome.

* Basic knowledge of SQL — SELECT, WHERE, JOIN, GROUP BY, COUNT, SUM etc.

* Good logical and analytical thinking.

* Good communication and problem-solving skills.

* Tamil and English required.

* Telugu is an added advantage.

* Knowledge of ERP/POS/Inventory/Retail software is an advantage.

This is a Technical/Application Support role and not a Software Development role.
