- Call Management: Answer high-volume incoming calls and transfer them to patient rooms, doctors, or departments using the EPABX/switchboard system.
- Emergency & Code Paging: Dispatch urgent overhead pages, disaster protocols, and medical emergency codes following strict hospital safety rules.
- Information Support: Provide general facility information to callers, such as visiting hours, department locations, and consultant clinic schedules.
- Directory Maintenance: Keep internal staff contact lists, physician on-call rosters, and extension logs updated daily.
