Key Responsibilities

- Cloudera Platform Leadership: Lead the design, implementation, optimization, and modernization of Cloudera-based data platforms.
- Big Data Architecture: Define scalable architectures for large-scale data ingestion, processing, storage, and analytics.
- Data Modernization: Lead enterprise data migration, modernization, transformation, and platform optimization initiatives.
- Data Engineering: Oversee large-scale data ingestion, ETL/ELT pipelines, data processing, and analytics workloads.
- Data Governance: Define and implement data governance, security, quality, compliance, and architecture standards.
- Platform Engineering: Ensure data platforms deliver high availability, scalability, performance, reliability, and operational excellence.
- Cloud Data Platforms: Drive adoption and integration of cloud platforms and modern data lake architectures.
- Technical Leadership: Provide technical direction across Big Data, analytics, data engineering, and platform initiatives.
- Team Leadership: Lead, mentor, and develop data engineers, architects,



and platform engineering teams.
- Stakeholder Management: Partner with business, product, analytics, engineering, and technology stakeholders.
- Program Management: Drive delivery of enterprise-scale data platform and analytics programs.
- Innovation: Identify and implement modern technologies and approaches to improve data platform capabilities and business value.

Required Skills & Experience

- 9–12 years of overall IT experience.
- 5+ years of experience working with Big Data and Cloudera ecosystems.
- Strong expertise in Cloudera Data Platform (CDP), Hadoop, HDFS, Hive, Impala, Spark, Kafka, HBase, and YARN.
- Strong experience in Big Data architecture and large-scale data processing.
- Experience designing and managing data ingestion and ETL/ELT pipelines.
- Strong knowledge of SQL and programming languages such as Python, Scala, or Java.
- Experience with cloud platforms including AWS, Azure, or GCP.
- Strong understanding of data lake and modern data platform architectures.
- Experience leading enterprise data transformation, migration, modernization, and analytics programs.
- Solid understanding of data governance, security, quality, and compliance.
- Experience managing and mentoring data engineering and platform teams.
- Strong stakeholder management, communication, leadership, and delivery management skills.
