We are looking for a Counter Sales Executive to handle customers at our retail counter, understand their requirements, recommend suitable products, and complete sales efficiently. The ideal candidate should have positive communication skills, a customer-friendly attitude, and basic knowledge of billing and retail sales.
Key Responsibilities
- Greet customers and understand their product requirements.
- Explain product features, specifications, pricing, and offers.
- Recommend suitable products based on customer needs and budget.
- Handle counter sales and generate invoices/bills.
- Process cash, UPI, card, and other payment methods.
- Maintain proper sales and billing records.
- Coordinate with the inventory team regarding product availability.
- Ensure products are properly displayed and the counter is well maintained.
- Handle customer queries and provide after-sales assistance.
- Follow up with customers when required.
- Maintain daily sales and cash/payment records.
- Support stock checking and inventory management when required.
- Achieve assigned sales targets.
Requirements
- Minimum 12th pass; graduate preferred.
- Previous retail/counter sales experience is preferred.
- Good communication and customer-handling skills.
- Basic computer knowledge.
- Knowledge of billing software/POS is an advantage.
- Ability to handle cash and digital payments accurately.
- Positive attitude and willingness to learn.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced retail environment.
