About the Role

We are looking for a warm, confident, and well-presented Hostess to be the first point of contact for our guests at our modern Indian restaurant.

The Hostess will create a welcoming first impression, manage reservations and seating, coordinate with the service team, and help ensure every guest experiences the warmth, hospitality, and attention to detail that define our restaurant.

Key Responsibilities

- Welcome and greet every guest with warmth, professionalism, and genuine hospitality.
- Manage reservations, walk-ins, online bookings, phone enquiries, and the waiting list.
- Escort guests to their tables and ensure a smooth and comfortable seating experience.
- Maintain accurate reservation and table-status information throughout the service.
- Communicate estimated wait times clearly and professionally.
- Coordinate closely with servers, managers, and the kitchen to maintain an efficient seating flow.
- Introduce guests to the restaurant's concept, dining experience, menu highlights, and special offerings when appropriate.
- Handle guest questions, requests, and minor concerns with confidence and a service-first attitude.
- Support the team during busy services, special events, and peak dining periods.
- Ensure the entrance, host stand, menus, and guest-facing areas are clean, organized, and presentable.
- Maintain a polished and professional appearance in line with the restaurant's standards.
- Assist with guest celebrations, special occasions, and VIP arrangements.
- Maintain awareness of table turnover, guest preferences, and service flow.
- Follow all restaurant policies, service standards, and safety procedures.

What We're Looking For





- Previous experience in hospitality, restaurants, hotels, or customer-facing roles is preferred.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Naturally warm, welcoming, and guest-focused personality.
- Confident and professional manner with the ability to interact with a diverse range of guests.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to multitask and remain calm during busy services.
- Good knowledge of English; knowledge of Hindi and/or other regional languages is an advantage.
- Professional grooming and presentation.
- Comfortable using reservation systems, POS systems, and basic technology.
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.
- A genuine interest in Indian food, culture, hospitality, and contemporary dining is a plus.

Qualification:

Bachelor's/ Diploma in Hospitality

Pay: ₹16,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
