Key Responsibilities

- Plan and conduct regular dance classes for students.
- Teach age-appropriate dance techniques, movements, and choreography.
- Prepare students for school events, annual functions, competitions, and cultural programs.
- Develop creative and engaging dance routines.
- Identify and encourage students with an interest and aptitude in dance.
- Maintain discipline and ensure student safety during practice sessions.
- Coordinate with teachers and school management for performances and events.
- Keep updated with current dance trends and techniques.
- Assess students' progress and provide constructive feedback.

Requirements

- 2–5 years of experience as a Dance Teacher, preferably in a CBSE school.
- Robust knowledge of one or more Indian/Western dance forms.
- Excellent choreography and performance skills.




- Good communication and classroom-management skills.
- Ability to work with students of different age groups.
- Creative, energetic, and enthusiastic approach to teaching.
- Relevant certification/diploma/degree in Dance or Performing Arts will be an added advantage.

Preferred Skills

Dance Forms: Classical / Bollywood / Western / Contemporary / Folk / Hip-Hop, or other relevant forms.

Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹35,000.00 per month

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Perambur, Chennai, Tamil Nadu: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required)

Experience:

- cbse dance teacher: 3 years (Required)
