Job Summary

NOW Realty Promoters & Builders Pvt. Ltd. is looking for an experienced Sr. Billing Engineer & Contracts to handle contractor billing, quantity verification, BOQ reconciliation, rate analysis, contract administration, and commercial coordination for residential and commercial construction projects.

The ideal candidate should have strong experience in construction billing, quantity surveying, contracts, cost control, and project commercial management, along with good knowledge of construction practices and documentation.

Key ResponsibilitiesBilling & Quantity Surveying

- Prepare, verify, and certify RA Bills and Final Bills for contractors and subcontractors.
- Verify site measurements and quantities against approved drawings, BOQ, and work orders.
- Prepare and maintain measurement sheets, billing statements, and quantity reconciliation.
- Check contractor claims, deductions, recoveries, retention, advances, and other contractual adjustments.
- Monitor executed quantities and ensure accurate billing within approved BOQ limits.

Contracts & Commercial Management

- Review and administer contractor/subcontractor work orders, agreements, and contract terms.
- Ensure billing and payments are processed as per contractual conditions.
- Prepare and evaluate variation statements, extra items, substituted items, and rate analysis.
- Review contractor claims, deviations, and commercial requirements.
- Coordinate with contractors and internal teams for resolution of billing and contractual issues.
- Support commercial negotiations and cost-control initiatives.

BOQ, Cost Control & Reconciliation

- Prepare and monitor BOQ reconciliation and cost statements.
- Track contract value, billed amount, certified amount, and balance quantities.
- Identify quantity variations and potential cost overruns.
- Assist in project budgeting,



cost monitoring, and commercial forecasting.
- Ensure proper reconciliation of materials and quantities wherever applicable.

MIS & Documentation

- Maintain proper records of BOQs, work orders, agreements, measurement sheets, bills, variations, and approvals.
- Prepare monthly billing and commercial MIS reports.
- Coordinate with Project, Site, Purchase, Accounts, Consultants, and Contractors for timely bill processing.
- Ensure all commercial documentation is complete and up to date.

Key Requirements

- B.E./B.Tech/Diploma in Civil Engineering.
- 5–7 years of relevant experience in construction / real estate projects.
- Strong experience in Billing, BOQ, Quantity Surveying, Rate Analysis, and Contract Management.
- Experience in residential/commercial or high-rise construction projects preferred.
- Proficiency in MS Excel and AutoCAD.
- Experience with ERP/project management software is required; Highrise experience preferred.
- Good understanding of construction drawings, specifications, contracts, and commercial practices.
- Robust analytical, negotiation, coordination, and documentation skills.

Preferred Skills

- Knowledge of IS Codes, CPWD/DSR rates and construction practices.
- Knowledge of contract terms, variations, claims, and commercial procedures.
- Knowledge of RERA-related project documentation will be an advantage.
- Ability to independently manage billing and commercial activities.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively with contractors, consultants, site teams, and management.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹50,000.00 - ₹75,000.00 per month
