We are seeking a qualified, reliable, and guest-focused Driver/Valet to join Hotel Le Royal Park’s team. The successful candidate will provide exceptional vehicle parking, retrieval, and transportation services to our guests, ensuring a seamless and luxurious experience from arrival to departure.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Valet Services:

- Greet guests warmly upon arrival and assist with vehicle parking
- Park and retrieve guest vehicles safely and efficiently
- Issue parking tickets and maintain accurate vehicle records
- Ensure the valet area is organized, clean, and traffic-free
- Assist guests with luggage loading and unloading
- Provide information about hotel facilities and local attractions
- Handle guest keys and parking claims with utmost care and security

Driving Services:

- Transport guests to and from Pondicherry Airport (less than 5 km)
- Provide local transportation to attractions, restaurants, and business meetings
- Maintain a clean, well-maintained, and fuel-efficient vehicle
- Plan optimal routes to ensure timely arrivals
- Assist passengers with luggage and special needs
- Ensure passenger safety and comfort at all times

Customer Service:

- Deliver friendly, professional, and personalized service to all guests
- Address guest requests and complaints promptly and professionally
- Maintain knowledge of hotel services, amenities, and local points of interest
- Uphold the hotel’s standards for appearance, etiquette,



and service excellence

Safety & Security:

- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections
- Report any vehicle damage or maintenance issues immediately
- Adhere to all traffic laws and safety regulations
- Maintain confidentiality of guest information and belongings
- Follow emergency procedures and safety protocols

QUALIFICATIONS & REQUIREMENTS

Essential:

- Valid driver’s license with at least 3 years of driving experience
- Clean driving record with no major violations
- Excellent knowledge of Pondicherry roads and local area
- Strong customer service skills and friendly demeanor
- Physical ability to lift up to 25 kg (luggage)
- Professional appearance and grooming standards
- Fluency in English and Tamil
- Ability to work flexible shifts, including weekends and holidays

Preferred:

- Previous experience in hotel valet or driver position
- Hospitality industry experience
