Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement Group HR strategy, advising senior management on workforce planning, organisational design, and people risk
- Build and maintain the Group HR policy framework, ensuring consistent application across entities and currency with labour law
- Design and run performance management cycles, including KPI frameworks, appraisals, and calibration
- Lead organisational structure, job architecture, succession planning, and retention of critical roles
- Establish training and development plans, and build HR capability within the team Recruitment & Talent Acquisition
- Own end-to-end recruitment across the Group for professional, technical, and volume hiring
- Lead the recruitment team, setting mandatory criteria and selection standards before roles are released
- Manage manpower planning with business unit heads against project pipelines and mobilisation timelines
- Build direct sourcing channels and internal mobility to reduce agency dependency and hiring cost HR Operations
- Oversee the full employee lifecycle from onboarding through confirmation, transfers, and exit
- Ensure accurate employee records, contracts, and HR documentation across all entities
- Oversee attendance, leave administration, payroll coordination, and HR systems and data
- Prepare HR reporting and workforce analytics for senior management Employee Relations & Compliance
- Handle grievances, disciplinary matters, and investigations in line with policy,
ensuring compliance with labour regulations in each operating jurisdiction
- Drive employee engagement, welfare, and internal communication initiatives Leadership & Coordination
- Lead and develop the HR and recruitment team, and manage HR vendors and partners
- Partner with business unit heads across locations as the senior HR point of contact, travelling to Group operations as required
Mandatory Requirements
- Experience: 10 to 15 years in human resources, including 3 to 5 years in a senior HR role
- Qualification: MBA in Human Resources or Administration and Operations
- Dual capability: Proven ownership of strategic HR, recruitment, and HR operations. Candidates from a purely recruitment or purely generalist background will not be considered
- Build experience: Demonstrated experience building HR policy, performance frameworks, or organisational structure, with examples that can be evidenced at interview
- Team leadership: Experience leading an HR or recruitment team with accountability for their output
- Multi-entity: Experience supporting more than one business or entity, ideally within a group structure
- Languages: English, Hindi, and Malayalam are essential. Tamil, Kannada, or Arabic are advantageous
- Compliance & systems: Working knowledge of labour law, solid Excel and HR reporting capability, and experience operating an HRMS
