Job Summary

ImmverseAI is looking for a Software Tester / QA Tester to join our team and ensure the quality, functionality, reliability, and performance of our software applications. The candidate will be responsible for identifying bugs, creating and executing test cases, performing functional and regression testing, and collaborating with developers to resolve issues.

This role is suitable for both freshers with a strong understanding of software testing concepts and experienced QA professionals who have hands-on testing experience.

Key Responsibilities

- Understand software requirements and prepare test scenarios and test cases.
- Perform manual testing of web and software applications.
- Execute functional, regression, integration, and usability testing.
- Identify, document, and track bugs using appropriate bug-tracking tools.
- Re-test fixes and ensure defects are properly resolved.
- Collaborate with developers, product teams, and other stakeholders to improve product quality.
- Perform API testing and basic database/SQL validation where required.
- Maintain testing documentation and prepare test reports.
- Participate in the complete Software Testing Life Cycle (STLC).
- Identify potential quality issues and provide recommendations for improvement.




- Work closely with the development team throughout the software development lifecycle.

Required Skills

- Understanding of Software Testing Life Cycle (STLC) and Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).
- Manual Testing and Test Case Preparation.
- Functional and Regression Testing.
- Bug identification and reporting.
- Basic knowledge of API Testing.
- Basic SQL/Database knowledge.
- Familiarity with tools such as JIRA, Postman, TestRail, or similar tools is an advantage.
- Basic knowledge of Selenium/Automation Testing will be an added advantage.
- Good analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Solid attention to detail and communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications

- B.Tech / BE / BCA / MCA / Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, Software Engineering, or a related field.
- Freshers with relevant testing knowledge, projects, or certifications are encouraged to apply.
- Candidates with 1–3 years of relevant QA/testing experience are preferred for experienced positions.
