We are looking for a proactive and detail-oriented Garments Merchandiser to manage the complete order execution process from buyer communication and sampling through production, quality inspection and final shipment.

The candidate will act as an important link between the buyer, production, quality, sourcing, sampling and logistics teams to ensure that orders are completed according to buyer specifications, quality standards, cost and delivery timelines.

Freshers with a relevant educational background and a solid interest in the garment export industry are encouraged to apply.

Key ResponsibilitiesBuyer Coordination

- Communicate with buyers regarding order requirements, specifications and timelines.
- Understand buyer tech packs, specifications, measurements, artwork and quality requirements.
- Maintain regular follow-up with buyers regarding approvals, comments and order status.
- Coordinate buyer queries and ensure timely responses.
- Maintain professional relationships with existing buyers.

Order Management

- Handle orders from initial confirmation through final shipment.
- Prepare and maintain order details, T&A; calendars and production follow-up sheets.
- Track order status and ensure all activities are completed within the planned timeline.
- Coordinate with internal departments to avoid production delays.
- Monitor critical milestones including sampling, fabric booking, trims, cutting, sewing, finishing and packing.

Sampling & Development

- Coordinate development of samples according to buyer requirements.
- Follow up on fit samples, size sets, PP samples and other approval samples as applicable.
- Coordinate with the sampling and production teams for corrections and modifications.
- Ensure approved samples and specifications are properly communicated to production.
- Maintain records of sample approvals and buyer comments.

Costing & Pricing

- Assist in preparing garment costing based on fabric, trims, accessories,



labour and other production costs.
- Coordinate with sourcing and production teams to obtain accurate costing information.
- Prepare quotations and submit costing for buyer approval.
- Monitor changes in fabric, trims or specifications that may affect the final cost.

Production Follow-Up

- Coordinate closely with the Production Team to monitor order progress.
- Follow up on fabric, trims and accessories availability.
- Monitor cutting, sewing, finishing and packing status.
- Identify potential delays and escalate issues to the Merchandising Manager.
- Ensure production is carried out according to approved samples and buyer specifications.
- Maintain updated production status reports.

Quality Coordination

- Coordinate with the Quality Control / Quality Assurance team.
- Ensure buyer quality standards are followed during production.
- Follow up on inspection reports and corrective actions.
- Ensure any quality issues are communicated to the concerned teams and resolved promptly.

Shipment & Documentation

- Coordinate with the logistics and commercial teams for shipment planning.
- Ensure orders are completed within the agreed shipment date.
- Follow up on final inspection and packing status.
- Coordinate with relevant teams regarding shipping documentation and dispatch.
- Maintain complete order records and shipment details.

RequirementsEducational Qualification

- Bachelor's degree / Diploma in Fashion Technology, Apparel Production, Textile Technology, Garment Technology, Fashion Design, Merchandising or a related field is preferred.
- Candidates from other backgrounds with strong interest in garment merchandising may also be considered.

Experience

- Freshers can apply.
- 0–2 years of experience in garment merchandising, apparel export or buying-house operations will be an advantage.
- Candidates with export garment merchandising experience will be preferred.

Pay: ₹13,000.00 - ₹20,000.00 per month
