We are hiring for Export Inside sales coordinator -Full Time - UK Working Hours

Location - Chennai

Salary- 4.8 Lakhs PA

Exp -3 - 5 Years

Proactively identify and contact prospective customers via telephone, email, and digital channels

Develop a pipeline of new business opportunities and work to convert these into active accounts

Prepare and present freight quotations tailored to customer requirements

Follow up on leads generated from marketing activity, referrals, and inbound enquiries

Research target markets and customer sectors to identify growth opportunities

Account Management

Manage and grow a portfolio of existing customer accounts

Build solid, long-term relationships with key customer contacts

Conduct regular account reviews to identify additional service opportunities and ensure customer satisfaction

Address customer queries and concerns promptly and professionally

Quoting & Operations Support

Prepare accurate and competitive freight quotations across all modes (air, sea, road)

Liaise with operations, customs, and overseas agents to ensure quotes are commercially viable

Enter and maintain accurate records within the CRM system





Work closely with the operations team to ensure smooth handover of new business

Reporting & Targets

Achieve agreed monthly and quarterly sales targets for revenue and margin

Maintain accurate pipeline and activity records in the CRM

Provide regular updates to the Sales Manager on activity, performance, and market intelligence

Skills & Experience

Essential

Sound knowledge of freight forwarding services including air freight, sea freight, and road transport

Excellent telephone manner and strong written communication skills

Ability to build rapport quickly and manage multiple customer relationships

Commercially aware with a results-driven mindset

Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)

Organised, self-motivated, and able to work independently and as part of a team

Desirable

Experience using a freight-specific CRM or TMS

Knowledge of customs procedures, Incoterms, and import/export documentation

Existing network of contacts within the freight or supply chain sector

Pay: From ₹480,000.00 per year
