Job Summary

We are looking for a Multi-Skilled Technician to handle the day-to-day maintenance, repair, and troubleshooting of hotel facilities, equipment, guest rooms, and engineering systems. The candidate should have practical knowledge of electrical, plumbing, HVAC, carpentry, and general maintenance work and should be able to respond quickly to breakdowns and guest maintenance requests.

Key Responsibilities

- Carry out daily inspection and preventive maintenance of hotel facilities and equipment.
- Attend maintenance complaints from guest rooms, restaurants, kitchens, offices, and public areas.
- Perform basic electrical maintenance, including lights, switches, sockets, MCBs, wiring, and electrical fixtures.
- Handle plumbing work, including taps, toilets, washbasins, drainage, water lines, and leakage complaints.
- Perform basic HVAC/AC maintenance, including checking AC units, filters, thermostats, and common faults.
- Carry out minor carpentry and furniture repair work.
- Handle basic civil maintenance such as wall damage, tiles, grouting, painting, and minor repairs.
- Inspect and maintain pumps, motors, water systems, and other hotel equipment.
- Assist in maintenance of kitchen equipment and laundry equipment when required.
- Respond promptly to emergency breakdowns and maintenance calls.




- Maintain preventive maintenance schedules and equipment checklists.
- Record completed work, breakdowns, spare parts used, and pending jobs.
- Coordinate with the Engineering Supervisor/Chief Engineer for major repairs.
- Follow hotel safety procedures and electrical, fire, and workplace-safety standards.
- Ensure guest areas are maintained with minimum disturbance to guests.
- Maintain proper tools, equipment, and engineering stores.
- Support the engineering team during inspections, shutdowns, and special maintenance projects.

Required Skills

- Positive knowledge of electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and general maintenance.
- Basic knowledge of carpentry, painting, and civil repair work.
- Ability to troubleshoot equipment and identify common faults.
- Good practical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
- Good communication and coordination skills.
- Ability to work in shifts, weekends, and holidays.
- Physically fit and comfortable working in different areas of the hotel.
- Knowledge of hotel engineering operations will be an advantage.

Qualification

- ITI / Diploma in Electrical, Mechanical, Refrigeration & Air Conditioning, or a related technical trade preferred.
- Relevant hotel maintenance experience will be considered.
- Candidates with multiple technical skills and practical hotel experience are preferred.

Salary & Benefits
