Job Description – Senior Accountant

Position: Senior Accountant
Experience: 7–8+ Years
Salary: ₹30,000 – ₹40,000 per month

Job Responsibilities

- Handle day-to-day accounting entries and ledger maintenance in Tally Prime/ERP.
- Maintain purchase, sales, payment, receipt, journal, and contra vouchers.
- Perform bank reconciliation and monitor banking transactions.
- Manage accounts payable and receivable, vendor payments, customer collections, and outstanding follow-ups.
- Manage GST compliance, including preparation and filing of GSTR-1 and GSTR-3B.
- Perform regular GST reconciliation with books of accounts and GST portal data.
- Handle TDS calculation, deduction, payment, and return filing, including Form 24Q and 26Q.
- Reconcile TDS records with Form 26AS and resolve discrepancies.
- Handle e-invoicing and e-way bill generation.
- Prepare monthly Profit & Loss Account, Balance Sheet, and MIS reports.
- Assist in monthly, quarterly, and yearly closing of accounts.
- Ensure timely completion of GST, TDS, Professional Tax, and other statutory compliances.
- Coordinate with statutory auditors, internal auditors, and tax consultants.
- Maintain proper documentation and accounting records for audit purposes.
- Prepare cash flow statements and other financial reports as required by management.




- Guide and supervise junior accounting staff.
- Ensure compliance with company accounting policies and procedures.

Required Skills

- Strong practical knowledge of Tally Prime/ERP.
- Excellent knowledge of GST, TDS, and statutory compliance.
- Hands-on experience in GSTR-1, GSTR-3B, TDS 24Q, 26Q, and Form 26AS reconciliation.
- Good knowledge of e-invoicing and e-way bills.
- Good knowledge of MS Excel.
- Strong understanding of accounting principles and finalization of accounts.
- Good knowledge of bank reconciliation, receivables, payables, and ledger management.
- Experience in the manufacturing industry will be preferred.
- Good communication, coordination, and analytical skills.

Candidate Profile

We are looking for an experienced Senior Accountant with 7–8+ years of experience, preferably from a manufacturing company. The candidate should have robust practical knowledge of Tally, GST, TDS, banking, reconciliations, statutory compliance, and finalization of accounts.

Pay: ₹30,000.00 - ₹40,000.00 per month
