Arrow Multispeciality Hospital is seeking a qualified MD General Medicine physician to provide comprehensive diagnostic, therapeutic, and preventive care to inpatients and outpatients. The physician will manage a broad range of adult medical conditions and work closely with our multidisciplinary team of specialists, nursing staff, and allied health professionals.
Qualifications & Requirements
- MBBS with postgraduate MD in General Medicine (or DNB General Medicine) from a recognized institution
- Valid registration with the Tamil Nadu Medical Council / National Medical Commission
- 0–5+ years of clinical experience (freshers and experienced candidates considered)
- Solid diagnostic reasoning and clinical judgment
- Proficiency in managing medical emergencies and acute care
- Good communication skills in Tamil and English
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct outpatient (OPD) consultations and manage inpatient admissions
- Diagnose and treat acute and chronic medical conditions (diabetes, hypertension, cardiac, respiratory, infectious, gastrointestinal, and renal disorders)
- Order and interpret laboratory and radiological investigations
- Manage medical emergencies and provide critical/ICU care as needed
- Prescribe medications and monitor patient treatment response
- Conduct ward rounds and coordinate patient care across departments
- Collaborate with specialists, nursing staff, and physiotherapists for integrated treatment
- Maintain accurate medical records and documentation
- Counsel patients and families on treatment plans, prognosis, and preventive care
- Participate in case discussions, clinical audits, and CME activities
- Adhere to hospital protocols, clinical governance, and quality standards
Preferred Skills
- Experience in critical care / ICU management
- Familiarity with hospital information systems and electronic medical records
- Interest in multispecialty collaborative care
Compensation
Competitive salary commensurate with qualifications and experience, plus performance incentives.
Pay: ₹150,000.00 - ₹250,000.00 per month
