We are looking for a skilled Electrical Technician to carry out preventive and breakdown maintenance of industrial electrical equipment. The candidate will be responsible for troubleshooting electrical systems, maintaining plant equipment, conducting electrical testing, and ensuring protected and reliable plant operations.

Key Responsibilities

- Perform preventive and breakdown maintenance of electrical equipment and plant machinery.
- Install, inspect, and troubleshoot electrical systems and equipment. Work with 3-phase motors, DOL/star-delta starters, contactors, and overload relays.
- Carry out VFD installation, parameter checking, fault identification, and basic troubleshooting.
- Maintain and troubleshoot MCC/PCC panels, breakers, contactors, relays, and control circuits.
- Understand and troubleshoot basic PLC I/O, sensors, interlocks, and control wiring.
- Work with basic industrial instrumentation such as proximity sensors, level sensors, temperature sensors, and pressure switches.
- Perform electrical testing using multimeters, clamp meters, and insulation resistance/meggers.
- Carry out cable termination, glanding, cable dressing, and basic cable fault identification.
- Identify electrical faults and coordinate with the maintenance team for timely resolution.
- Maintain proper maintenance records, breakdown reports, and electrical inspection checklists.
- Follow LOTO procedures, electrical isolation practices, PPE requirements, earthing standards, and electrical safety procedures.

Educational Qualification:

Diploma in Electrical Engineering

Experience :





2–5 years of experience in industrial electrical maintenance.

Motor & Electrical Equipment:Knowledge of 3-phase motors, DOL/star-delta starters, contactors, and overload relays.

VFD:Knowledge of VFD installation, parameter checking, fault identification, and basic troubleshooting.

MCC/PCC:Working knowledge of MCC/PCC panels, breakers, contactors, relays, and control circuits.

PLC:Basic understanding of PLC I/O, sensors, interlocks, and control wiring.

Instrumentation:Basic knowledge of proximity, level, temperature, and pressure sensors.

Electrical Testing:Hands-on knowledge of multimeter, clamp meter, and insulation resistance/megger testing.

Cabling:Knowledge of cable termination, glanding, dressing, and basic cable fault identification.

Safety:Knowledge of LOTO, electrical isolation, PPE, earthing, and electrical safety practices.

Documentation & Computer Skills

- · Ability to maintain maintenance records, breakdown reports, and inspection checklists.
- · Basic knowledge of MS Excel and MS Word is recommended.

Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹28,000.00 per month
