We're Hiring- OT Technician

Location: Sabine Hospitals and Research Centre, Cherkala, Kasaragod

Sabine Hospital & Research Centre Pvt Ltd is a premier healthcare facility and a leading centre for infertility treatment. Our mission is to provide exceptional medical care and support to our patients with compassion and dedication. We are seeking a skilled and dedicated OT Technician to join our surgical team.

Duties & Responsibilities :

- Prepare and maintain the Operation Theatre (OT) before, during, and after surgeries.
- Ensure proper cleanliness, disinfection, sterilization, and infection-control practices.
- Prepare and arrange surgical instruments, equipment, consumables, and OT supplies according to the procedure.
- Assist surgeons and nurses during general, orthopedic, neuro, gynecology, urology, and other surgical procedures.
- Handle and maintain surgical instruments and OT equipment safely.
- Perform scrub and circulating duties as assigned.
- Check the availability and functioning of OT machines and equipment before surgery.
- Assist with patient positioning, transfer, and preparation for surgery.
- Maintain aseptic technique and sterile field throughout the procedure.




- Assist with instrument and sponge counts before, during, and after surgery.
- Ensure proper specimen collection, labeling, and handover to the laboratory.

Qualifications & Requirements

- B.Sc. in Operation Theatre Technology or Diploma in OT Technology
- Minimum 1 year of experience in a hospital setting
- Knowledge of OT procedures, sterilization techniques, and surgical instruments
- Ability to work in a fast-paced and high-pressure environment

Preferred Skills

- Familiarity with advanced OT equipment
- Strong attention to detail
- Ability to respond quickly in emergency situations
