Job Description: Secondary Social Science Teacher

Position: Secondary social Science Teacher Experience: 2-10 Years

Location: Orathanadu,Thanjavur.

Key Responsibilities:

Teaching & Academic Excellence:

- Deliver engaging and comprehensive social lessons aligned with the CBSE curriculum for secondary students.
- Use creative and interactive teaching methods, including experiments and demonstrations, to make social science exciting and relatable.

Student Development:

- Identify students’ learning needs and tailor teaching methods to cater to diverse abilities.
- Encourage curiosity and critical thinking to help students develop a scientific mindset.
- Prepare students for school assessments, competitive exams, and higher education in science.

Curriculum & Lesson Planning:

- Develop and implement well-structured lesson plans with a focus on practical and theoretical knowledge.
- Create additional resources such as study guides, practice questions, and project ideas to enhance learning.

Classroom Management:

- Foster a positive, inclusive, and disciplined classroom environment.
- Encourage active participation and collaboration during lessons and group activities.

Parent Communication:

- Regularly communicate with parents about students’ academic progress and areas for improvement.




- Provide suggestions to support students’ learning at home.

Continuous Professional Development:

- Stay updated with the latest advancements in science education and creative teaching methodologies.
- Participate in professional development workshops, training programs, and team collaborations.

Requirements:

- Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in History/Geography or related field.
- B.Ed. or equivalent teaching qualification (mandatory)
- 2-10 years of CBSE teaching experience in Physics and Chemistry at the secondary level.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and classroom management skills.
- Passion for teaching and the ability to motivate and inspire students.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹35,000.00 per month
