About the Role

We are looking for a Student Counsellor Intern with a background in Psychology who can connect with students, understand the factors affecting their academic engagement, and help them overcome mental blocks that may be affecting their learning and progress.

The ideal candidate should be able to build strong connections with students, understand their challenges, and provide the right guidance to improve their focus, motivation, learning habits, and overall approach towards their career goals.

Key Responsibilities

- Conduct regular one-on-one interactions with students to understand their academic mindset, motivation, focus, and engagement levels.
- Identify mental blocks, lack of motivation, fear of failure, procrastination, low confidence, and other factors that may be affecting a student's learning.
- Help students develop better study habits, concentration, consistency, and time-management skills.
- Help students develop a more mature, disciplined, and professional approach towards their learning.
- Motivate students who are struggling with consistency, attendance, assignments, projects, or course participation.




- Conduct structured counselling and developmental sessions focused on academic performance, mindset, motivation, and career readiness.
- Build a comfortable and trustworthy relationship with students while maintaining professional boundaries.
- Work closely with trainers, academic coordinators, placement teams, and management to understand student progress and provide appropriate interventions.

What We Are Looking For

- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Psychology or a closely related field.
- Strong interest in student development, behavioural psychology, counselling, and career guidance.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to understand student behaviour and identify the underlying reasons behind lack of focus or motivation.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and professional boundaries.
- Fresh graduates and psychology graduates looking to build practical experience in student development and counselling are encouraged to apply.
