Job Description

As a Creative Wedding Album Designer, you will play a central role in crafting compelling, high-end wedding albums for clients across India and abroad. The core responsibility involves curating and designing modern layouts with a sharp focus on visual narration, emotional storytelling, and showcasing key moments. A deep understanding of diverse cultural traditions and various wedding ceremonies is essential to accurately capture the narrative arc of each celebration.

This is a client-facing position that requires strong written and verbal communication skills in English. You will interact directly with clients to present design concepts, gather feedback, align on visual preferences, and successfully bring album design projects to closure.

Responsibilities

- Storytelling & Layout Design: Build modern wedding album spreads emphasizing narrative flow, key emotions, and significant ceremonial moments.
- Cover & Title Spread Artistry: Apply a strong foundation in elegant typography, vector design, line art, and color palettes to create sophisticated cover and title spreads.
- Image Editing & Retouching: Perform image compositing, photo editing, color correction, and implement specific client retouching requests to ensure cohesive visual quality.
- Pre-Press & Production Workflow: Manage the complete pre-press procedures required to process albums accurately for book printing, ensuring technical specifications and print readiness are met.
- Client Interaction & Project Management: Engage in direct written and verbal communication with domestic and international clients to review layouts and close design projects effectively.
- Brochure & Marketing Collateral Design: Design supporting product marketing materials, such as product brochures, when required.





Prerequisites and Preferred Qualification

- Bachaelor Degree in Visual Arts or Photography
- Candidates with 2-3 years of experience working in this field will be highly preferred.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English, paired with strong project tracking, coordination, and collaborative team-player capabilities.
- Demonstrated background in visual composition, visual narration, color theory, elegant typography, and vector design/line art.
- Working knowledge of SmartAlbums, Photoshop and Lightroom is a plus.

Timings

- Monday to Friday (9 AM - 7 PM)
- Saturday (9 AM - 1:30 PM)
- This is an on-site role. There is no work from home option.

Hiring Process

- Telephonic interview
- Hiring Tests & HR Interview. This will be conducted at Oodio Office Premises. The candidates will have to attend the hiring session from 10 AM-5 PM.
- We are open to online if the candidate has a good internet connection and if he/she is out of Bangalore at that point in time.

Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹35,000.00 per month
