Job Summary

We are looking for a hands-on HVAC Site Engineer to manage and supervise HVAC installation, execution, testing, commissioning, and site coordination for commercial, industrial, and building projects.

The candidate will be responsible for ensuring HVAC works are executed as per approved drawings, project specifications, quality standards, and planned schedules.

Key Responsibilities

- Supervise day-to-day HVAC installation and site execution activities.
- Study and understand HVAC drawings, layouts, BOQs, specifications, and project requirements.
- Coordinate installation of:
- Ducting systems
- Chilled water piping
- VRF / VRV systems
- AHU / FCU systems
- Chillers and pumps
- Ventilation and exhaust systems
- HVAC control systems
- Coordinate with civil, electrical, plumbing, fire & safety, and other site teams.
- Monitor manpower, materials, tools, and equipment required for HVAC works.
- Ensure installation is carried out as per approved drawings and quality standards.
- Identify site issues and coordinate with the project team for timely resolution.
- Conduct inspections and ensure proper installation quality.
- Assist in HVAC testing, balancing, commissioning, and troubleshooting.
- Coordinate with consultants, contractors, vendors, and client representatives.
- Prepare daily site progress reports and maintain relevant site documentation.
- Track project progress against the planned schedule.
- Support material inspection, quantity verification, and site measurements.
- Ensure compliance with site safety procedures and project HSE requirements.




- Support preparation of as-built drawings, testing reports, commissioning documents, and handover documentation.

Required Skills

- Strong knowledge of HVAC systems and installation practices.
- Ability to read and interpret HVAC drawings and technical documents.
- Good understanding of ducting, piping, insulation, equipment installation, and testing.
- Basic knowledge of HVAC controls and BMS is an advantage.
- Good site coordination and team management skills.
- Ability to identify and resolve site-level technical issues.
- Good communication and reporting skills.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD is preferred.
- Knowledge of MS Excel and MS Office.

Qualification

Diploma / B.E. / B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering or HVAC / Refrigeration & Air Conditioning Engineering.

Experience

2–5 years of relevant experience in HVAC site execution, installation, testing, or commissioning.

Freshers with strong technical knowledge and valuable site exposure may also be considered for junior positions.
