We are hiring a Mutual Fund Analyst and Sales professional to strengthen our investment research, advisory capability, and distribution growth. This is a hybrid role combining deep research with active sales and client engagement, focused on: Mutual fund analysis and portfolio construction Client and distributor-facing sales and relationship management Market insights and investment communication Supporting and growing the distributor and advisory ecosystem The role requires someone who can think independently, go beyond basic return comparisons, build structured investment views, and convert research conviction into client and partner action. Key Responsibilities 1. Mutual Fund Research and Analysis Track and analyse mutual funds across categories (equity, debt, hybrid, international) Evaluate funds based on: ○ Risk-adjusted returns (Sharpe, Sortino, drawdowns) ○ Portfolio composition and factor exposures ○ Fund manager strategy, consistency, and style ○ Expense ratios and alpha generation Build internal frameworks for fund selection beyond basic return comparison 2. Portfolio Construction Support Assist in building client portfolios aligned with risk profile, investment horizon, and market outlook Ensure diversification across asset classes and fund categories Support creation of model portfolios for advisory and distribution use 3. Portfolio Monitoring and Review Track performance of recommended funds and portfolios Identify drivers of performance (market vs. fund-specific) Suggest portfolio rebalancing based on market cycles and fund consistency Prepare periodic performance summaries and insights 4. Market and Product Insights Track macro trends, sector rotations,



and flows impacting mutual funds Identify emerging themes and opportunities across categories Align mutual fund recommendations with broader market views and internal strategies 5. Advisory and Sales Enablement Support advisory and distribution teams with fund notes, portfolio rationale, and client communication material Simplify complex investment insights into clear, actionable communication Help improve conviction in client recommendations 6. Sales and Client Acquisition Actively reach out to prospective clients, HNIs, and referral partners to generate new business Pitch Wright Research's mutual fund advisory and model portfolio offerings to individual investors and distribution partners Conduct client meetings, presentations, and follow-ups to convert leads into managed relationships Collaborate with the distribution and PMS sales teams to cross-sell mutual fund products to the existing client base Own and track a personal sales pipeline with transparent targets for AUM mobilised and client additions per quarter Build and deepen relationships with MFDs, IFAs, and wealth managers to drive incremental flows 7. Distributor Engagement and Activation Engage with existing MFDs, IFAs, and referral partners who are inactive on the platform Initiate and drive conversations to understand inactivity and identify re-engagement opportunities Support partners with research-backed insights, model portfolios, and market views Work closely with the sales and distribution team to improve partner activation and productivity Act as a bridge between research and distribution by translating insights into actionable conversations 8. Process Building and Data Discipline Build and maintain structured trackers for fund performance, category trends, and model portfolios Ensure consistency, documentation, and auditability in recommendations Continuously improve research frameworks and reporting templates

Pay: ₹500,000.00 - ₹800,000.00 per year
