We are looking for a Proposal Engineer – Water Treatment responsible for preparing technical and commercial proposals for RO, WTP, ETP, STP and other water treatment systems. The candidate should be capable of understanding customer requirements, developing suitable technical solutions, preparing BOQs and cost estimates, and coordinating with engineering, purchase and sales teams.

Key Responsibilities

- Understand customer requirements, RFQs, tender documents and technical specifications.
- Prepare technical and commercial proposals for RO, WTP, ETP, STP and water treatment projects.
- Develop process concepts and select appropriate treatment technologies based on water analysis and project requirements.
- Prepare BOQ, equipment lists, technical specifications and cost estimates.
- Prepare PFDs, basic process calculations and equipment sizing where required.
- Obtain and evaluate quotations from vendors for equipment and components.
- Coordinate with the Design, Process, Purchase, Production and Sales teams for proposal preparation.
- Review customer specifications and identify technical deviations and exclusions.
- Prepare techno-commercial comparison statements and support price negotiation.
- Ensure proposals are submitted accurately and within the required deadline.




- Assist the sales team during technical discussions and customer meetings.
- Maintain proposal records, costing data, vendor databases and standard proposal templates.
- Support tender preparation, including compliance statements and technical documentation.
- Follow up with customers for technical clarifications and proposal-related queries.

Required Technical Knowledge

- Valuable knowledge of RO, WTP, ETP, STP and wastewater treatment processes.
- Understanding of pumps, membranes, pressure vessels, dosing systems, filters, softeners, UF, DM/MB plants and related equipment.
- Knowledge of water treatment process flow and basic equipment sizing.
- Ability to read and understand PFDs, P&IDs;, GA drawings and technical datasheets.
- Knowledge of MS Excel and preparation of BOQs and costing sheets.
- Familiarity with AutoCAD and water treatment design software will be an advantage.

Qualification

- B.Tech / B.E / Diploma in Chemical, Environmental, Mechanical, Civil or related Engineering discipline.
- 2–5 years of experience in water treatment proposal engineering, estimation, design or project engineering.
- Experience in RO/WTP/ETP/STP projects is preferred.

Pay: ₹16,000.00 - ₹18,000.00 per month
