Role Description

Work Allocation / Responsibilities

- Design, develop, and implement integrations enabling seamless communication between the EPS platform, POS systems, payment processors, edge devices, and enterprise applications.
- Define integration architecture, API and messaging patterns, and reusable integration components.
- Ensure data integrity, security, scalability, reliability, and resiliency across the integration landscape.
- Collaborate with architects, business analysts, developers, and vendors to translate business requirements into scalable technical solutions.
- Lead integration testing and support SIT and UAT activities.
- Perform root cause analysis and resolve complex technical defects and integration issues.
- Ensure adherence to Chevron engineering standards and development practices.
- Provide technical guidance and support to development teams throughout the project lifecycle.
- Support deployment planning, performance tuning, monitoring, and operational readiness.
- Ensure reliable and resilient payment transaction processing across the EPS ecosystem.

Required Functional and Domain Knowledge

- Strong understanding of retail fuel operations and payment processing ecosystems.
- Experience with POS (Point of Sale) systems, forecourt controllers, edge computing environments, and end-to-end payment transaction lifecycles.
- Understanding of payment authorization, settlement, refunds, reversals, gift card transactions, and exception handling processes.
- Knowledge of payment processors,



site systems, operational controls, transaction monitoring, and vendor-integrated payment platforms.
- Understanding of business workflows and operational support processes.
- Knowledge of compliance considerations related to payment processing.
- Experience with modernization of vendor-controlled systems into enterprise-owned, service-based architectures.
- Ability to translate business requirements into scalable integration solutions.
