Role Overview
The WE Foundation is looking for a creative and detail-oriented Skill Coordinator to plan,
coordinate, and monitor skill development and vocational training programs that empower individuals with industry-relevant knowledge and employability skills. The ideal candidatewill work closely with trainers, partners, employers, and beneficiaries to ensure the effective implementation of training initiatives, maintain program quality, and support successful placement outcomes. This role requires strong coordination, communication, stakeholder management, and problem-solving skills, along with a passion for creating sustainable livelihood opportunities and driving meaningful social impact.
Key Responsibilities
Program Coordination & Implementation
Plan, coordinate, and oversee the implementation of skill development and
vocational training programs in accordance with project objectives and timelines.
Coordinate with trainers, field teams, training centers, and partner
organizations to ensure the smooth execution of training activities.
Prepare training schedules, participant batches, and resource allocation plans
to ensure effective program delivery.
Ensure adherence to organizational policies, donor requirements, and
government guidelines related to skill development initiatives.
Training Management
Coordinate the delivery of classroom, practical, and on-the-job training sessions.
Monitor trainer performance and ensure training quality, curriculum compliance, and learner engagement.
Facilitate the availability of training materials, equipment, and learning resources.
Support trainers in resolving operational and participant-related challenges.
Beneficiary Mobilization & Support
Coordinate with community stakeholders and field teams to mobilize eligible
candidates for training programs.
Manage participant registration, enrollment, attendance, and documentation.
Provide guidance, mentoring, and continuous support to trainees throughout
the training lifecycle.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Social Work, Rural Development, Education, Management,
Sociology, or a related discipline.
Fresher or up to 1 Year of experience in coordinating skill development, vocational
training, livelihood, employability, or community development programs, preferably
in the non-profit, CSR, education, or development sector.
Required Skills
Excellent communication, presentation, facilitation, and interpersonal skills.
Strong knowledge of skill development, vocational training, livelihood, and
employability programs.
Excellent program coordination and project management skills with the ability to
manage multiple training batches and activities simultaneously.
Strong stakeholder management skills, with the ability to build and maintain
relationships with trainers, employers, government agencies, CSR partners, and
community organizations.
Ability to mobilize, mentor, and support beneficiaries throughout the training and
placement lifecycle.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and experience with
data management and reporting tools.
Knowledge of government skill development schemes, industry standards,
assessment, certification, and placement processes is preferred.
