Job Summary

We are looking for a motivated and enthusiastic WordPress Developer – Fresher to join our development team. The candidate should have a basic understanding of WordPress and web development technologies and be interested in building, customizing, maintaining, and troubleshooting websites.

This is a good opportunity for fresh graduates to gain hands-on experience working on real-world WordPress projects.

Key Responsibilities

- Assist in developing and maintaining WordPress websites.
- Customize WordPress themes and plugins based on project requirements.
- Work with WordPress hooks, custom functions, and basic backend customization.
- Perform basic debugging and troubleshoot website issues.
- Manage website content, plugins, themes, updates, and configurations.
- Work with MySQL databases for basic data management and troubleshooting.
- Implement responsive website designs using HTML and CSS.
- Make basic frontend modifications using JavaScript.
- Optimize websites for performance and basic SEO requirements.
- Assist with website backups, migrations, and maintenance.
- Work with the team to understand requirements and complete assigned tasks on time.

Required Skills

- Basic to good knowledge of WordPress CMS.
- Knowledge of PHP, including basic WordPress backend development.
- Understanding of WordPress Hooks such as Actions and Filters.
- Ability to create and use custom functions in WordPress.




- Basic understanding of WordPress debugging and troubleshooting.
- Basic knowledge of MySQL and database concepts.
- Good knowledge of HTML and CSS.
- Basic knowledge of JavaScript.
- Understanding of WordPress themes, plugins, and page builders such as Elementor.
- Good problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Willingness to learn new technologies and take ownership of assigned tasks.

Good to Have

- Basic knowledge of custom WordPress theme development.
- Basic knowledge of custom plugin development.
- Familiarity with WooCommerce.
- Basic understanding of website performance and SEO.
- Familiarity with Git/GitHub.
- Knowledge of cPanel or basic website hosting concepts.

Eligibility

- Freshers / Recent graduates are welcome to apply.
- BCA, B.Sc. Computer Science, B.Tech/BE CSE/IT, MCA, or related technical backgrounds are preferred.
- Candidates with practical WordPress projects or personal projects will be an advantage.
