Niraamaya is looking for a dedicated and responsible Kitchen Steward to support the culinary team by maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness, hygiene, sanitation, and organization across the kitchen and back-of-house areas.

Key Responsibilities

- Clean and sanitize kitchen utensils, crockery, cutlery, equipment, and work areas.
- Maintain cleanliness of kitchen, dishwashing, storage, and back-of-house areas.
- Operate dishwashing and cleaning equipment safely and efficiently.
- Ensure proper segregation and disposal of kitchen waste.
- Support the kitchen team during daily operations and service periods.
- Maintain adequate availability of clean utensils and kitchen equipment.
- Follow all hygiene, sanitation, food safety, and workplace safety standards.
- Handle cleaning chemicals and equipment responsibly as per SOPs.
- Assist with receiving, moving, and storing kitchen supplies when required.
- Minimize water, chemical, and other resource wastage.
- Report equipment defects, maintenance issues, or hygiene concerns to the supervisor.
- Maintain a clean, organized,



and professional working environment at all times.

Candidate Profile

- Previous experience as a Kitchen Steward in a hotel, resort, restaurant, or professional kitchen is preferred.
- Basic understanding of kitchen hygiene and sanitation practices.
- Physically fit and comfortable working in a fast-paced kitchen workplace.
- Reliable, disciplined, and hardworking with a positive attitude.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
- Willingness to work flexible shifts, weekends, and holidays as required.
- Hospitality experience will be an advantage.
