Reporting To: Programme Manager / Foundation Management
Experience: 2–5 years in programme coordination, school health programmes, NGO/community outreach, healthcare camps, or a related field.
Job Summary
The Programme Coordinator will be responsible for planning, coordinating, executing, and monitoring school screening programmes conducted by Choice Foundation. The role involves coordinating with schools, healthcare professionals, field teams, parents, and internal departments to ensure smooth and timely execution of screening camps and proper documentation and follow-up.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan and coordinate school health screening programmes from scheduling to completion.
- Coordinate with schools, principals, teachers, and school management for programme arrangements.
- Prepare screening schedules, school-wise plans, team deployment, and daily activity plans.
- Coordinate doctors, nurses, psychologists, therapists, technicians, volunteers, and other field staff.
- Ensure all required screening equipment, forms, stationery, identification materials, and medical supplies are available before each programme.
- Conduct regular communication with schools regarding screening dates, timings, student strength, requirements, and logistics.
- Coordinate transportation and movement of screening teams to different schools and districts.
- Ensure smooth registration and student flow during screening activities.
- Monitor screening activities such as general health, vision, dental, developmental, psychological, nutritional, and other assessments as applicable to the programme.
- Ensure accurate collection and maintenance of student screening data and records.
- Verify daily screening reports and ensure timely submission of programme reports.
- Identify students requiring further assessment or intervention and coordinate appropriate referrals.
- Coordinate follow-up with parents/schools for children identified with health or developmental concerns.
- Maintain school-wise databases, screening statistics, referral records,
and follow-up status.
- Prepare daily, weekly, monthly, and programme-wise MIS reports.
- Monitor team attendance, punctuality, field performance, and adherence to programme schedules.
- Resolve operational issues during school visits and escalate major concerns to the Programme Manager.
- Maintain good professional relationships with school authorities and programme partners.
- Ensure compliance with Choice Foundation policies, child safeguarding requirements, confidentiality, and professional standards.
- Collect feedback from schools and screening teams and suggest improvements to programme implementation.
- Support awareness programmes, health education sessions, workshops, and community outreach activities when required.
- Travel to schools and other programme locations as required.

- Maintain school-wise screening records.
- Maintain daily team deployment and attendance records.
- Prepare screening and referral reports.
- Track students referred for further evaluation.
- Maintain follow-up records.
- Prepare programme performance reports and MIS.
- Maintain photographs and supporting documentation as per organizational guidelines.
- Ensure confidentiality and secure handling of children's information.
Required Skills

Educational Qualification
Bachelor's degree in any relevant discipline such as Healthcare Management, Social Work, Psychology, Public Health, Hospital Administration, Education, Life Sciences, or Business Administration.
A qualification in Public Health / Healthcare Management / Social Work will be an added advantage.
Experience
2–5 years of experience in any of the following:
- School health screening programmes
- NGO/community outreach programmes
- Healthcare camps
- Public health programmes

- Child development or screening programmes
- CSR/community development projects

Working Conditions
