Salary: ₹20,000 – ₹40,000 per month IN HAND

QUALIFICATION & EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS

1. Diploma / B.E. / B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent qualification. 2. 2–5 years of relevant experience in Quality Assurance / Quality Control, preferably in Valve Manufacturing, Oil & Gas, Engineering or API-related manufacturing industry. 3. Must have working knowledge of API Q1 and Quality Management System requirements. 4. Knowledge of API 6A / 16A / 16C standards is required. 5. Working knowledge of IATF 16949 and quality management practices. 6. Good knowledge of Incoming, In-Process and Final Inspection. 7. Ability to read and understand engineering drawings, specifications and inspection requirements. 8. Good knowledge of measuring instruments and inspection equipment. 9. Knowledge of Gate Valve Assembly, inspection and testing will be preferred. 10. Basic knowledge of Hydro / Pressure Testing will be an added advantage. 11. Knowledge of NCR, CAPA, 8D, Root Cause Analysis, 5 Why and corrective actions. 12. Good documentation and reporting skills. 13. Basic proficiency in MS Office / Excel / Word. 14. Good communication, analytical and problem-solving skills. RESPONSIBILITIES 1. Ensure compliance with API Q1, API 6A / 16A / 16C, IATF and company quality procedures. 2. Perform inspection of incoming raw materials and components as per drawings,



specifications and quality requirements. 3. Conduct in-process and final inspection of Gate Valve assemblies and components. 4. Verify dimensions, visual requirements and other product specifications using appropriate measuring instruments. 5. Ensure inspection and testing activities are carried out as per approved procedures and requirements. 6. Support Hydro / Pressure Testing and maintain relevant test records. 7. Prepare and maintain inspection reports, check sheets, test reports and other quality documentation. 8. Identify and report non-conforming products/materials and raise NCRs as required. 9. Coordinate with Production and Engineering teams for resolution of quality issues. 10. Support Root Cause Analysis, CAPA and corrective actions. 11. Maintain proper product identification and traceability records. 12. Support internal, customer and third-party audits related to QMS / API / IATF requirements. 13. Monitor rejection/rework and support quality improvement activities. 14. Ensure measuring and testing equipment is properly maintained and calibrated. 15. Report major quality issues to the Quality Head / Manager. 16. Ensure final products meet customer,



applicable standard and company quality requirements before release. AUTHORITY 1. Authorized to accept/reject material and products based on defined quality requirements. 2. Authorized to raise NCRs for non-conforming material/products. 3. Authorized to hold non-conforming products for further evaluation and corrective action. 4. Authorized to select appropriate inspection and measurement methods within the defined quality procedure. ACCOUNTABILITIES 1. Quality of incoming, in-process and final products. 2. Proper inspection and testing of Gate Valve assemblies and components. 3. Accurate and timely completion of quality records and inspection reports. 4. Compliance with API Q1, API 6A / 16A / 16C, IATF and company quality procedures. 5. Identification and timely reporting of non-conformities. 6. Support for corrective actions and continuous quality improvement. MUST HAVE API Q1 – Mandatory API 6A / 16A / 16C – Required IATF 16949 – Working Knowledge Mechanical Engineering qualification 2–5 years relevant Quality experience Drawing reading & measuring instrument knowledge GOOD TO HAVE Valve manufacturing / Gate Valve Assembly experience Hydro / Pressure Testing ISO 9001 Internal Auditor knowledge NCR / CAPA / 8D NDT knowledge SALARY ₹20,000 – ₹40,000 per month, depending on relevant experience, technical skills and interview performance.
