Job Description:
Axis Max Life Insurance is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Manager - Training to join our dynamic team. The Manager - Training will be responsible for the design, development, and implementation of training programs that enhance the skills and knowledge of our employees. This role will focus on identifying training needs, creating effective training materials, and evaluating the success of training initiatives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assess training needs through surveys, interviews, and consultations with management and employees.
- Develop and deliver engaging training programs that align with the company’s strategic goals.
- Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of training programs through feedback and performance metrics.
- Collaborate with department heads to ensure training content is relevant and impactful.
- Manage training budgets and resources efficiently.
- Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in training and development.
- Facilitate workshops and training sessions both in-person and virtually.
- Prepare training reports and provide insights to management on training effectiveness.
Skills and Tools Required:
- Strong knowledge of adult learning principles and instructional design.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Ability to assess training effectiveness and implement improvements.
- Proficient in e-learning development tools and Learning Management Systems (LMS).
- Strong analytical skills to evaluate training needs and outcomes.
- Ability to work collaboratively with diverse teams and stakeholders.
- Solid organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Education, or a related field. Master’s degree preferred.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in training and development, preferably in the insurance or financial services sector.
- Certification in training methodology or instructional design is a plus.
