Job Summary

We are looking for a Network Support Engineer responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, and supporting the organization's network, firewall, and server infrastructure. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in network troubleshooting, firewall administration, and Windows/Linux server management.

Key Responsibilities

Network Support & Troubleshooting

Monitor and maintain LAN/WAN, switches, routers, access points, and network connectivity.

Troubleshoot network issues involving TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VLANs, routing, and VPNs.

Diagnose connectivity, latency, packet-loss, and performance-related issues.

Configure and troubleshoot switches, routers, and wireless infrastructure.

Handle network incidents and provide timely resolution to users and internal teams.

Perform network monitoring and maintain proper documentation of network infrastructure.

Firewall Administration

Configure and administer enterprise firewalls and security policies.

Manage NAT, access-control rules, VPNs, port forwarding, and security policies.

Monitor firewall logs and investigate connectivity and security-related issues.

Perform firewall troubleshooting, rule reviews, and configuration backups.

Assist with firewall upgrades, security hardening, and change management.

Server Management

Administer and troubleshoot Windows and/or Linux servers.

Manage server services, user accounts, permissions, storage,



and system performance.

Monitor server health, availability, CPU, memory, disk, and network utilization.

Troubleshoot server, application, DNS, DHCP, and Active Directory-related issues.

Perform system updates, patches, backups, and routine maintenance.

Assist with virtualization and server infrastructure management.

Required Skills

Strong understanding of TCP/IP, OSI model, DNS, DHCP, VLAN, NAT, VPN, and routing concepts.

Hands-on experience with routers, switches, firewalls, and network troubleshooting tools.

Experience with at least one firewall platform such as FortiGate, Sophos, Palo Alto, Cisco ASA, or SonicWall.

Working knowledge of Windows Server and/or Linux.

Knowledge of Active Directory, Group Policy, DNS, and DHCP is preferred.

Familiarity with network monitoring and ticketing tools.

Positive troubleshooting, analytical, and communication skills.

Preferred Certifications ( would be an added advantage)

CCNA

Fortinet NSE/FCA/FCP

CompTIA Network+ / Security+

Microsoft / Linux certifications

Candidate Profile

1–3 years of hands-on experience in network and infrastructure support.

Willingness to handle production issues and participate in an on-call/shift support rotation, if required.

Strong problem-solving and incident-management skills.Ability to work independently as well as with infrastructure, security, and application teams.

Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
